It seems like another Amazon to me…the way I read it at least.

There was a baddy from Bronze age by the name of Artemis. 'The first Wonder Woman' who would eventually go on to lead Ares armies and aid his champion in decimating the Amazons homeland, forcing them to flee to their island.

and another feat to the pile to further muddy how powerful Amazons are~

Well...we are done. And I think it had a fairly weak ending.

It fails to really add anything to the main title or event that is going on and sadly doesnt match the quality we've been getting in WW.

We introduce a new villain who is another Amazon who we will likely never hear of or speak of again. Somehow she is awakened thousands of years later and is able to possess some rando? Able to kill Eris and set up this whole golden apple scheme in 3 weeks. All to punish the Amazons out of her hatred for her sisters.

The only thing that really came out of this is that Yara finally accepts her title of 'Wonder Girl'. Cassie didnt have anything to do in the issue.

Angry Amazon turns into a skeleton and is easily defeated and then just handed over to Steele?

I enjoyed seeing Faruka block multiple blows from a hundred foot tall sword wielding skeleton with no effort

While entertaining enough on its own, this didn't really add anything to the story it was supposed to be expanding on at all.

This was very meh in my opinion. I think I would’ve liked it more if they were dealing with AXE instead of some irrelevant Amazon. This didn’t add much to the ladies story. Like what made Yara want to be Wonder Girl all of a sudden? I do hope Faruka keeps Hoppy as a companion though.
