This is just getting sad. Dan is just recycling all his well known stories at this point.

Honestly Marvel can get pretty repetitive but when it's the actual writer repeating themselves...

It seems pretty normal with Spider-Man to be honest.

David Michelinie did another Venom: Lethal Protector mini-series.

Peter David does new projects with Spider-Man: 2099 including combining with his Symbiote Spider-Man series.

Roger Stern did "Something Can Stop the Juggernaut."

DeMatteis has done so many stories with Kraven and Vermin.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

just wanna point out, this is only a recycled idea in the technical sense, in that it picks up from where PAD walked off the series in 1996, literally including a recap of volume 1 issue 44 to catch you up

Most of the time with diminishing returns...

Spider Island was an event that people kind of liked but this is a very watered down effort that feels like it's a footnote of an idea that if it was even remotely marketed could have made people maybe interested but it's dropped in and the average consumer who marvel would want to sell these trades to won't know of what's coming. It feels like this run could be more fun if it given more weight from upper offices like Spider-boy does, but it feels like it's more of a diminishing return for them

If only there were a way to judge a story/comic that contains pages on the INSIDE of two covers... pages that include words, pictures, and context.

But sadly, that day may never come.

Are we sure this is gonna be an arc? Could just be the graphic novel name... says it collects superior 5-8.

Hey Dan, you may not be able to answer... but is Superior continuing after 8? The synopsis kinda gave off a 'final issue' vibe. Hope not, been enjoying the ride!

I hope the entire island of Manhattan gets Doc Oct-ed. I hope I see Mayor Adams shriek "THE DIE IS CAST"

Doc Ock uses his own dice when playing D&D, ones he specifically made.

He'd definitely cast his own dice.

Maybe it won't be literal and more symbolic this go-around.

A much better concept is Peter is told by Otto that he cured the city and now EVERYONE is superior. He is everywhere and spreading. Peter doesn't believe him. But as he's swinging around the city he sees people arguing with each calling others dolts. Peter starts to worry about his loved ones. He calls MJ, May, JJJ, Robbie, Flash maybe even Max, but all of them have been infected. None of the people infected have spider powers so he can't really fight them but even a couple of heroes he runs into for help are also turned. It becomes a slightly less challenging task than blood hunt but it's an entertaining idea

Honestly it would totally be a Doc Ock plot to try to make the entire world like him.
