Default How would you do a new Gen 13 book?

If you were going to do a new Gen 13 book, how would you do it? Who would your roster be & will there be any DC characters on the team? Love to hear from Wildstorm fans about this plus maybe DC would bring the team back.

Id probably set it in the past like World's finest and make them the precursor to the TT.

Do it all over again in present time. Hard reboot.

I'd revive the Wild Storm imprint and followup on Ellis's threads.

All the Wildstorm characters need to be back on their own Earth and out of the main DC Earth. None of them have ever really worked in the main DCU.

This 100%. He had a very intriguing setup for the Gen13 book that never was, true to the original while also steeped into the gritter sci-fi world of The Wild Storm. It would have been amazing especially with Ellis himself as the writer.

The Gen 14 recruits join the JSA.

Definetly and Im curious what the other two spinoffs were. In promoting the Wild Storm, Ellis talked about returning to old series so would we get another Planetary volume?

I think it was WildC.A.T.S, Gen13, The Authority and Michael Cray/Deathblow.

That was how I took it.

The Cray/Deathblow series concludes it's story line in time to folks right back into the close of The Wild Storm. The "WildC.A.T.S." series was set to follow The Wild Storm, and the "The Authority..."/"Gen13..." series seemed like they would also follow it.

Never mind that what seemed like a potentially wider spread in the Gen13 kid's ages in The Wild Storm could make for a new spin on the concept.

Echoing all of this esp. ^
Will go a step further and say Ellis has to be the Writer.
    Bonus for JDH on art.

I would not hate the idea of Gen 13 but I could go for a DV8 too & I have a feeling that a Planetary book might spin out of the new Outsiders
Be yourself everyone is taken !! I'm an X-Man trapped in the DC omniverse

Agreed. I don't know why everyone wants all characters on one Earth. I'm still befuddled by people preferring JLA and JSA on one Earth.
