It's so weird that they announced C:CoK so early with no premise, no date, no original promotional image and no creative team.

Norman perhaps? He did kind of kill him before so that would kind of fit the "Not you!" reaction.

Chasm tries to find a way to fix himself but doesn't know what needs to be fixed. Anna sets Peter and her nurse up on a date. They didn't know that it was a date at first. Peter acts goofy and not confident. But the dates ends before anything happens because Better gets too deep into an investigation and needs help so Peter has to leave and save her

I once theorized for 45 and 46 that Anna would tell Peter that he should move on, so he could be happy as well. This is a horrible upgrade, although it would've been more reasonable for May to set up that date. Also, Lowe doesn't undertand "romance", but that was to be expected.
Usual rumor mills, so take it with a pinch of salt

>>Queen Goblin/Kafka approaches Ben and Janine with an offer to restore Ben's memories via the Winkler machine, which she has modified to erase and replace someone's memories and personality, which is what happened to poor Ned
>>Ben is for it, but Janine doesn't trust her.
>>Norman gets confronted by Mary Jane, who came by to visit Peter but he's off on a date. MJ confronts Norman about Ned rotting in jail and how the lawyer Norman got him, while stalling his trial, hasn't gotten him out on bail or done anything to bring down Kingsley.
>>Norman agrees to help, leading to him burning down Kingsley's fashion design house as Gold Goblin and him cackling like mad to foreshadow his return as Green Goblin.
>>Ben and Janine attack Peter and his date and Chasm nearly kills the poor girl, which pisses off Janine.
>>MJ returns home to Paul and finds out that Ned has escaped prison with help from several super-villains (implied to be the Sinister Six)
>>Peter is brought before Queen Goblin, only for Kraven and Doctor Octopus to show up and demand that once Peter's mind is merged with Ben's to give him his memories back, Otto wants his brain put into Peters mindless body again
Discovering/CONFESSING! the nature of evil... one retcon at a time.
If any of that is true than in the immortal words of another Peter, Peter Griffin "that looks terrible". Thanks for posting that. Even if it just a rumor with this run it seems real enough to me and would totally track with Wells writing of this book that I am not going to think about picking this issue up.
If that rumor is true, the implication /set up spoilers:end of spoilers
of a split/ break up between Chasm and Hallow's Eve sucks on paper. It feels just further cementing then death of Ben Reilly and his replacement by the Chasm, an insufferable joke character
Also if they kill Kingsley to make Ned Hobgoblin that would just be another massive eye roll from the dynamic duo of Wells and Lowe. Leave Kingsley over in Miles book where he can be cool and tell the umpteenth boring retread Green Goblin story over here with played out and done to death Norman without him

Would MJ even care about Ned? I feel like she barely knows him outside Betty.
