Default The x-men should start a book club

Who would lead it and what books would everyone bring?

    Definetely. XTAS Beast should lead.

Gambit will bring The Little Prince, Dune and all Harry Potter books. He read them all and is a fan canonically.

Cannonball is into classic science fiction, IIRC.

I can see Polaris bringing in something by Ayn Rand.

    Also definitely Sophie's Choice.

She'd definitely push on everyone: The Disappearing Spoon: And Other True Tales of Madness, Love, and the History of the World from the Periodic Table of the Elements by Sam Kean.

And then she'd sprinkle in some smart horror, like The Vegetarian.
Queen of Mutants, Mistress of Magnetism, Magnetrix and the MII, Pestilence of the Horsemen of Apocalypse, the Krakoan Oracle and creator of the Sanctus Sacrum Tournament Key, the Threshold Seed Shaper, Brood Queen of the Fall of the House of X, Lorna Sally Dane, Ph.D., of the House of M, Polaris of the X-Men

I like to think that Betsy and Blob carried this habit from the Age of X-Man back to 616.

Cyclops seems like a Catcher in the Rye type.
Angel likes the Great Gatsby, but hates how it ends.
Beast would probably suggest something by Pynchon, but the group would shoot that down.
Storm would bring The Broken Earth trilogy by Jemisin.
Logan would probably suggest something by Murakami, that fncking weeb.

New Mutants: War Children.(2019) Writer: Chris Claremont. Penciler:Bill Sienkiewicz

Wasn't sure what to make of this. She also use to write fantasy but it been hasn't mentioned in a long time. Speaking of writers. Will Pyro be allowed to self promote?

Rahne reading GoT ? That's a weird one. I wonder if Claremontt just picked a random "current fantasy for the youngstm" book.

I hadn't seen the date (2019) so I was wondering if the first volume actually came out in the 80s XD
