Damn, I loved that series. Probably my earliest exposure to the O5 era.

Fresh from watching X-men Evolution, the first two movies, a few episodes of the TAS, and a few sundry comics, I was shocked to read an X-men story without Wolverine in it

This preview makes me less interested in the comic. About the only thing that I like is seeing Candy again. I think that this comic might try to suggest that Warren never really cared about her, though. I wouldn't care for that.

The art is pretty poor for an anniversary book. I'm guessing that this comic was put together at the last second.

EDIT: I think that might be Sally Floyd serving drinks to Vulture.

The art looks good, but the characters are a bit stiff. Kind of looks like the artists overused 3D models.

I'm always up for some examination of Warren's past relationships, but I do hope there's more to it than that. At this point I'm much more curious about where he's going to be in the Brevoort era.

Even looks like they’re referencing that journalist Sally Floyd in that Generation M scene where it was retconned they had a fling in the past.

I didn't remember Generation M. Thanks for that. I re-read it, and now I think the weird wings might be a reference to that?
