At least Marvel didn't turn Bucky into somekind of secret agent working for a mysterious organization.

Yeah. It would make for a good story though if Bucky was thought dead and in their grief Natasha and Steve got closer and as a result had James(who was named in honor of Bucky) then when Bucky came back he found out and went so insane with jealousy and hate that he went back to being the Winter Soldier working as a mercenary and trying to kill James (even if Natasha was still pregnant with him) every chance he got simply for the fact that James would symbolize their betrayal.

Bucky is now the Unseen so he's out of the picture? and Nick Fury did mention how Natasha and Cap are more similar than not... in terms of values so perhaps they aren't so incompatible...

Not familiar with the concept, but if it makes a good story why not? Bringing back Bucky as a Soviet Assassin seemed like a bad idea at the time, but it was great comics and a decent movie.

Wouldn't mind it at all as long as James was conceived before Cap was frozen, when Widow would have been between 18-20 and it could be retcon'd in the Commie Smasher era. James could be in Russia right now, unaware of who his parents are.
