Based on this release schedule it sounds like X-Force will be releasing first

With him writing an anthology story for DC it seemed like it was inevitable. Also I feel like I see less sudden cancellations and crazy short mini’s (4 issues is insane) over at DC. They’ve even had a couple of mini’s extend into ongoings. After Ewing has been burned so many times with forced crossovers, early cancellations, etc. I think it would make sense for him to look at other options. Plus, there aren’t many Marvel properties he hasn’t already done. Fantastic Four seems to be the only thing left that really aligns with his strengths.

I will only accept Ewing going over to DC if he relaunches the Legion of Superheroes, since my other darlings the Titans already have a writer.

Yeah, I still remember Aaron's awful run of Avengers and I feel that if an Avenger had to be Phoenix, Bonita would have been a much better option than Echo. I don't now how editors thought that making Echo the Phoenix was a good idea.

I could see that. Staggering makes sense to keep the hype alive for a relaunch. Just confused everything is implying that the titles will be out by January but for some reason Exceptional was made to seem like a big book but is the only new thing for September.

Yeah, I think there might be a difference between Forge leading or directing operations in X-Force. It might be that they have a different field leader during missions, although I do hope Forge is actually out in the field being active and not relegated to be a operating from the base.

I forgot about that one. I'm still not entirely convinced it wasn't one of the ones announced at the con since it would be weird to me for them to have more so soon after two sets of announcements. Maybe there will be more books in January like a second wave?

Especially considering how she had a MCU tv show in development. They had to have known she wouldn't be Phoenix on the show. It would have made much more sense for it to be Bonita in that storyline. Having said that the storyline shouldn't have happened at all.
