have you been followoing Surge's brief appearances here and there or did it end like at Manifest Destiny era.

I’m tempted because of Forge, Betsy and Surge. I could do without Rachel and I’m neutral on Sage. I’ll probably give the first issue a try.
"When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — No, you move."
Looks like To confirmed she's still gonna be Captain Britain and that he's using the same colorist as Excalibur.
Yay
If she is indeed still CB I'm looking forward to seeing what Mr. Thorne does with her and the mantle.

I'm in love.

"Danielle... I intend to do something rash and violent." - Betsy Braddock
Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
That's interesting considering that Forge has been mostly relegated since the 90s (X-factor none withstanding) to the role of tech support guy, but when introduced originally by Claremont, he was a bad**s soldier and shaman, so I hope we get that version of Forge. Also, it is high time his real name is revealed (just saying).

To's art is just kinda bland to me and still feels a bit off on this title just based on that image. I wasn't a huge fan of that colorist he was working with on Excalibur either with the way everything was saturated in red and orange lol. Still, I'll stay cautiously optimistic and maybe it'll look better in action or with the uniforms.
There's just nothing sexy about his art. Sorry. I know art is subjective. But whatever.
If that is the Braddock Manor I hope with get to see the STRIKE team.
I think he's a very competent artist, but the art does lack an edge that I would associate with the title.
I was hoping he'd adapt his style, but this looks exactly like Excalibur.
Even Forge looks younger.
I give To credits, he draws Betsy more Asian than other artists did after Lee…
