Tank being other than TANK has NOT explicitly that I can find, unless it's elsewhere than this thread. The incoming writer, Redjack aka Geoffrey Thorne, made a comment suggesting a character we assume we recognize isn't the character we assume. And then the thread seized on the idea that Tank isn't Tank and were off to the races without further comment. I don't see that Tank speculation confirmed...

I don't think this Tank is the same as the one who appeared in Ironheart. We're just assuming.

I do like Tank as the mutant version of Ronin...though we kind of had that with Captain Krakoa.
My wishful guessing would have Tank be Madison Jeffries/BOX to give this iteration of X-FORCE a particularly tech bent.

Screen rant is pretty much speculating like the rest of us but passing that as confirmed information. I guess we'll have to wait till the first issue to have confirmation one way or the other.

All this assumptions and guesses regarding TANK does surprise me a bit, as Tank has already been introduced in the Iron Heart series. I thought more people knew this.
