    Default Looking for Joker book.

Years ago I found a copy of what I thought was The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told but it had a story in it that doesn't appear to be in any other copy I've been able to find. It's a story from Alan Davis and Mark Farmer and has the Joker hypnotize Catwoman into attacking Batman. I think it was published in 1986. Am I crazy? Am I thinking of the wrong book? Does anyone know anything about this? Any help would be appreciated. This would have been published about the time the first Batman movie came out.

It was in the weird Crisis on Infinite Earths period. Catwoman knew Bruce's identity and they were together/partners but the editors presumably knew one way or another it needed to be reset (I disagree). Joker abducted Catwoman and used a machine to get her to turn evil again. It left her more confused than straight up bad and she forgot Bruce's secret.

It's not in the Greastest Batman stories books I have, but maybe a Catwoman one?

It was included in Batman: The Dark Knight Detective Vol. 1 and Legends of the Dark Knight: Alan Davis, in both cases 'Tec 570's cover was used for the collection's cover.

"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"

"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"

"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
