If someone digs up a Blue Devil cover, I have to vote for it. It is the way.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
nx01a for an interesting relocation.

And thanks for the vote Foxley.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
This week Shalla-Bal!
Looks like it almost came down to a 7 way tie, but unless someone votes between now and closing of the vote I think we have a winner by one vote.

Congrats Shalla Bal!
And thanks to Atilla Kiss and Scott Taylor for the votes. Blue Devil was such a fun book and it's good to see it getting some love.
Congratulations on the Wonder Win Shalla Bal!
Thanks so much for the votes CaptainEurope and Iron Maiden!
Congratulations, Shalla Bal!
Thank you for the vote, Jack Dracula and nx01a for the runner-up…
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
Good going Shalla!
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
I forgot to vote yesterday, but it's just as well, since I couldn't have chosen just one winner from among so many great covers. Congratulations to Shalla Bal for finding that one!
Great job Shalla Bal!
This Post Contains No Artificial Intelligence. It Contains No Human Intelligence Either.
Congratulations to Shalla Bal for a cover which Definitely Conveys the Kong trope.
This week the captain has learned that these routines done over and over increase in difficulty as I have very small box of jokes and using them weekly means I use them weakly. Anyway, King Kong is an iconic movie and the ESB scene is one of the most iconic in all of cinema. The comic bookery of a giant ape also shows this to be an excellent choice for a theme.
Thank you for the HM, Zelena. It's always fun to see what goes into a selection process each week and I thoroughly respect your criteria despite it meaning I did not get a vote. For those of you who read the Age Of Marvels fanfic threads where book synopses are prepared and listed for people to "buy" (and you really should be, it's a lot of fun and the ideas expressed are pretty good), next month's post (April/May seen about May 1) will have a very fun play on the Superman/Spider-Man cover. Please take a look and vote!
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
