Yeah I’ve really wanted to see a “West Coast X-Men” style title for awhile. I really like the idea of mutants finding a city that is more inclusive (which iirc was the original premise of them moving to San Fran during decimation) and having a more fun focused title.

I stopped giving them points when it becomes clear they are completely incapable of managing their big ideas well.

Its very clear they do not have the writing ability to handle high-concept stories, which makes them foolish for constantly shooting for the moon instead of trying for something more feasible to write.

Gonna miss that island. I liked them being there and safe. Still feel there were a lot of good stories they could have told there. Maybe it will still be around in the next era.

I really like this idea! As important as the "protect a world that hates and fears them" is, there is enough titles that at least one could focus on other things.

I wonder how many issues they planed this for. If it will be an ongoing, then I expect more young X-Men to appear.

Im hoping this is the title that brings back Rockslide.

It would be good closure since they want to get us so much minimal Academy X perspectives.
