Zur-En-Arrh, Failsafe and Bruce

Just read Dark Prisons and also read up a bit on Failsafe.

So Failsafe is an android set to activate in the case Batman ever started killing people, and he was created by a 'pure Batman' personality within Bruce called Zur-En-Arrh. So from what I gather, Zur-En-Arrh somehow transferred his consciousness within Failsafe, who is now running around thinking it's 'the true Batman'.


So my question is..... what happened to the personality within Bruce? I mean.... has Zur-En-Arrh been expunged from his brain or something? Is there a risk that Bruce might snap and now we have two Zur-En-Arrhs on our hands? I know it's comics and all that but personalities kinda don't work that way, but yeah, my question is, is that personality completely out of Bruce now?

Pretty much. After trying and failing to get Bruce to cede control of his body Zur uploaded his consciousness into Failsafe (which seems to have always been his plan). So technically Bruce and Zurr are separate and distinct now.

Just read the latest issue and yeah, the dialogue confirms the Zur personality somehow left Bruce's mind altogether. WTF, but I mean... it's comics....

But I mean, imagine doing that to Two-Face and the Ventriloquist.
