I'm trying to find a movie made in Britain in early 1960s, I think it was black and white. All I can remember is a man in prison, his number is zero. He's in the yard with the other inmates and one is rambling about how reading Treasure Island as a boy corrupted his mind and made him kill his mother. Film then cuts to a woman opening the newspaper and fainting when she reads the headline "Zero to die to-day", apparently the man in prison's wife or girlfriend. This is pretty sketchy, I know. I may have seen it on TCM back in the 80s.
