However with Rebirth, it has come to light that 10 years of DC's history is missing. With parts of it creeping back into canon. Like Tim Drake's original back story, J'onn being an original member of the Justice League, the Amazons no longer sex pirates, more minor members of previous incarnations of the Teen Titans, etc.

Thanks for this, I shall be doing my wiki research on her to get a feel to how she might be in Titans.

Interviewing Dan Abnett On The New Titans And The DCU Post ‘No Justice’

    http://www.comicon.com/2018/05/09/in...st-no-justice/

"I knew there was going to be a shake up in all the big team books because of an upcoming event, so I presumed that would be the moment I was rotated off Titans after a respectable run"

"They enlist Nightwing to create that team, and to run the Titans as a squad of specialists working as part of the Justice League family. This is a chance at redemption for him, as the previous (Rebirth) Titans did not meet with the Justice League’s approval!"

"Miss Martian was a late addition. She’s appointed by the League as a ‘babysitter’ to watch over the team."

I still can't believe we are stuck with this dude writing the Titans again!

Ya, we haven’t seen Miss Martian in like forever, and I’m not sure we have ever seen her accomplish really anything, but she’ll totally be a believable and respectable authority figure. Though Nightwing and this new team get their own babysitter. Way to further belittle the team right of the bat. This guy clearly just gets it...

LoL, This honestly might be a new low.

That line about Nightiwng seeking redemption because he disappointed the JL is infuriating. I despise Abnett's Nightwing so much. Also I'm going to guess that Miss Martian is going to be the character Dick gets dragged through the mud to make to look better this time. How she is going to have any authority when she has done nothing is beyond me, but again this is a Nightwing that has no spine. So if she says the League wanted her to look over them he would probably roll over and do whatever she says, lol.

    Respectable run? LOL

Redemption for Nightwing? More like humiliation. He did nothing wrong. For Nightwing to be truly redeemed, he should call out the League for their hypocrisy and turn down their 'generous redemption offer'.

Ms.Martian as a babysitter? Putting Ms.Martian in charge of anything leaves a bad taste in my mouth after watching the YJ cartoon. Who's watching her to make sure she doesn't mess with everyone's minds? The character who needs a babysitter isn't even on the current team!!!

Well I dropped after the Donna Troy arc had the Justice League belittle them and I was not interested at first now I hate Abnett’s Titans and will act like Deathwing is leading the Titans.

Sounds like Miss Martian is there for give the league updates on how the teams doing? Well that's a recipe for drama. Probably what'll happen is that she'll have some kind of "are you with the team or not?" moment where they defy the league or something. I'm willing to bet money on this.

Also, what was up about that question about Waller? Abnett didn't seem to know what the dude was talking about.

Was hoping he'd talk more on everyone's different dynamic with each other but, eh. I guess I'll wait and see.

Everything about that interview sounds terrible honestly. I feel bad for the characters on the team.

I'm so sorry for Dick to put up with this.

I'm happy Wally moved on at least.

I love how he puts the blame of why the team sucks on their friendships. As if the problem isn't his terrible writing.
This is Lobdell levels of trash to the franchise.

" But their friendship was at times a handicap – it’s kind of what got them into trouble with the League – and to be honest, I think we’ve pretty thoroughly explored that 60’s call-back to the early Titans era. There was sometimes a sense they were a bunch of friends waiting for adventures to happen to them, rather than a team ready to respond to a clear and urgent mandate."

    You wrote them!

So he consciously and deliberately wrote them as an inefficient team. What was the point of all that then?

Should I be petty and not include this title in my DC June Jumping on Point list thread for new readers next month or should I be fair?
