After Rebirth, this no longer makes sense, and I think they actually ditched Cyborg being a founder during Priest's run (he said he was a founder in one issue, but that the team was founded 15 years ago in the next - and Vic would've been a child 15 years ago, so that's a contradiction and a retcon - Priest probably altered the script when he found out Snyder's plans). Instead, Vic's origin happened during the team's REUNION, as the team reassembled after a roster that had included Martian Manhunter broke up. Unfortunately that doesn't restore Vic's Titans history. He needs aging up by five years or so and his origin pushed that far further back in time, to allow for New Teen Titans to exist.

Agree - this is way confusing to me. I honestly don't mind Vic being in the League but, why does he have to be a founding member? The thought that he was first in the New Teen Titans and graduated to the League is way more interesting in my opinion. Wolfman did such a great job back in the NTT days of establishing Vic's struggle to be human and reconcile his half-cyborg self. What a great overall story arc for the character to take the thing that he once saw as a weakness become his greatest strength and with that self-actualization take it to the next level. Way better characterization than starting out as little more than the League's human Boom Tube. Vic deserves way better than that.
Or found another character to be the black founder if they weren't going to replace Hal.
(although whenever someone brings up how Johns used Cyborg to keep Hal in the League, I remember that GL was the first character that ended up leaving the team early into the New 52 Justice League).
The Robin in the 100-Page Giant is Tim.

I came here to catch up on whatever they do and oh gods.
I'm assuming the Dan Abnett issue where Dick guest star on the League was right after the reunion? That Darkseid invasion in Justice League Origin was the reunion?
They really need to make a huge announcement to update the origin because Justice League Origin is still, as far as casuals know, the origin, because Cyborg is still in the team.
So yeah if that's the case Cyborg's inclusion in New Teen Titans is impossible since Dick hasn't even formed a Teen Titans at that point. Unless they make another story where Cyborg was kicked out of the League temporarily and he joined Dick, before joining the League back.

Aww you made him cry, Teen Titans
- Man of Steel finale preview
But that's not even why they turned him down! They said it's not you, it's us. They didn't want to recruit anyone. And the team didn't last much longer anyway and he roster's already changed. Though if Jon was asked to join now he'd probably turn them down due to Damian's rebellious intentions (no longer having a no kill rule and keeping prisoners).
Another thing from Man of Steel #6: When Clark goes in Jon's room at the end of the issue, there's a New Teen Titans poster on the wall.

Anybody keeping up with Injustice 2? You should if you're a fan of some of the characters in limbo in current continuity (ie Blue Beetle, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Lobo, The Legion of Superheroes...etc).
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!
