The original Batman vs Predator, by Gibbons and Andy Kubert, was awsome. The others aren't bad, also, but that first one is still, IMHO, a great read.

Shouldn't this be Xenomorphs vs the Brood?

Though knowing Hickman it'll probably get dark quick.

And then he Spaceknighted all over those fools! I see the vision, and it is glorious.

I would rather see a 4 issue Captain America vs Predator series. I'd like to see, a Predator landing in WWII, attacking Steve in Europe, but the yautja getting frozen in ice. Then in the modern day, maybe Hydra finds the yautja, revives it, tries to control it, only of course, that doesn't happen, and it's up to Steve to save the day to fight against a time-lost foe.

Hey, that could be a great one, too, though I (or Marvel) would probably want to throw in a Wolverine team-up, since they both fought in World War II and might have encountered the same yautja separately.

I wouldn't have expected Hickman and Ribic to team up for something like this, I assume it's because of the new Alien Romulus movie coming out this year that's supposed to revive the franchise and go back to the basics. So you're probably right.

Couple thoughts: time to do a Punisher vs. Predator crossover with early 90s non-Garth Ennis crap non whatever Weird World crap he is doing now taking on the Predators. Also, since you already are in the Avengers office guys, why not just take back the Avengers book in general? It's not like anyone has done anything interesting, fresh, or good with the books since you left or anything...

Im sure Hickman does what he wants at this point.
He has to be their top writer.
I can’t imagine anyone better in marvel right now.
I think G.O.D.S got screwed by the 10 dollar first issue. But I noticed issue 5 or 6….I think…was in the top 20 in sales so I don’t know what they shoot for when he writes a comic.

I don’t think meta humor is called for here but I would like to see an Avenger dismiss Aliens as a Brood rip-off, the way Hawkeye dismissed the Justice League as Squadron Supreme wanna-bes.

Hope Marvel picks up the Terminator licence one day. They could tease a shiny metal "2029" at a 2027 con.

It could have Stark vs Skynet, Reed vs T1000, Cage vs black T800, Nat vs Tx, Robbie Reyes vs REV-9...

    That’s what I’m saying!
"We live in a world of cowards. We live in a world full of small minds who are afraid. We are ruled by those who refuse to risk anything of their own. Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark

Xenomorphed Avengers or Avengers/Xenomorph hybrids could be interestingly terrifying, but given how dangerous and terrifying the Xenomorphs are already, I'm not sure that's something Earth (or the larger universe) could survive.
