Nice parallel with their mutual upbringing and how it informed who they are now.

Highlights:

- Rose! Silver Fox! Mariko! Logan banging Jean in the pool (Percy just had to bring that back)!

- Wolverine in hot pants!

- The Snikt Family that will probably not be much of a thing past Krakoa (not that they ever really were)!

- Is that referencing Sabertooth Origins and the First X-Men mini?

He's definitely going through a painful experience though which he deserves. Physical pain is no big deal to him but confronting those memories is another story.
