Agreed. This version is so young that she doesn't feel threatening at all. More like one of the MCU villains of the week.

Well, this actress is supposed to be very good so hopefully she convinces you that she is indeed a threat by the end. Furthermore, Nova can alter her appearance easily with her impressive power set. Plus this is the multiverse, so we have no idea how old she actually is here. She could be from earlier in the timeline in her reality, or just making herself look young.
