If anybody had told me this era last issues's previews would star MODOK I would not have believed it and yet here we are.

I'm so glad I bailed when I did.

And I know it's through no fault of his but...I'm adding Duggan to the list of writers who I will never, ever read again. He's there in good company with his X-colleagues Percycution and Gillenister.

Honestly, Duggan’s use of MODOK seems more inspired by the Patton Oswald / Jordan Blum MODOK cartoon than anything else. And outside of that, MODOK is just one of those villains that pretty consistently pops up.

Also, both She-Hulk and Captain Marvel have had ongoings running for years, so I don’t know what you’re talking about there.

I did just notice that both Apocalypse and Destiny are in the same panel on Krakoa.. which wouldn't be possible. (Shhh.... just look at the pretty pictures.... give Marvel money.... always... give.. money)

It's the biggest convoluted mess. It feels disrespectful to the end of the popular era (that he helped to his credit).

I really need to take a moment and appreciate Joshua Cassara's artwork here, not to mention the sublime colours. I love the gravitas that the first page conveys and Cassara's rendition of Modok absolutely slays. I haven't actually read the preview as I'd rather just read the full issue when it comes out but Duggan has been on a pretty weak streak these past few months unfortunately.
