Really boring cover.
This book has the least interesting premise to me. The only draw for me is Marquez' art. Unless something really unexpected happens in the first issue I will probably skip it.
By the way, do you think this could mean that by next week we will start to see more info about the remaining X-books like X-factor, Storm and Wolverine?
The way the article is written it sounds like the X-Men are giving up on the Xavier way.
More like they've given up on the way Xavier did things (they have no choice really considering his recent antics, Peaceful Co-existence seems to be atomised and scattered across the galaxy for the foreseeable future) and following their own path and direction. Which is smarter.
That said...I'm good.

Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Nice! I am hype for the variant cover reveals tomorrow. This is my flagship book.
“Not as good as I once was… but I’m as good, once, as I ever was.”
It’s not a lineup that interests me, whether it’s been a long time since these characters were together or no.
But, you know, I am fine with that. It’s not a crime for Marvel to produce books I’m not interested in.
I think it’s about the same amount of time… they were in Uncanny Avengers together. Also if you can’t Old Man Logan then Astonishing X-Men from the late 2010s.
Unrelated but they’re really pushing this “three flagships” concept. Exceptional seems a bit like the odd man out (just based on featuring the least established characters), but I’m cautiously looking forward to reading the first issues.

I didn't expect anything from this new era, but Uncany is the worst book presented for me with the worst synopsis, return to the mutants under Stockholm syndrome who will continue with Xavier's stupid dream after all the genocide perpetuated by humans and especially after humans are destroyed krakoa their nations they simply go as if nothing had happened continue to play heroes to show that they are "good muties" in the hope of being loved by humans.
just plain horrible.
over and over again the same old tired trope of mutants who protect "those who fear and hate them" and which will end with the death of innocent mutants and a future genocide for the drama and misery of mutant porn as a reward for their heroic action, absolutely everything that ended up making me hate the x-men as it went in circles and became absurd to continue with xavier's dream.
And worst of all rogue, jubilee and wolverine will participate in this... I don't hope that at some point they will end up facing mutants who want to take revenge on humans for the destruction of krakoa with a fight and a moral lesson right-thinking and ridiculous about mutant/human coexistence and Xavier's dream which has no longer made sense for years after all his mutant massacres.
As for the generic villain who "still" wants to destroy what's left of the x-men... lol what could be worse than m-day or mutants were only 298 or the destruction of krakoa.
I'm nothing against the screenwriters who will surely try to do their best but disgusted by this "new era" but not surprised at all, since Brevoort's nomination I expected nothing other than recycling which has nothing more to say for years and even more since krakoa.
For real. It's tiring, I get wanting to vent out feelings but continuously stating the same thing in every thread about the relaunch? If it's not for you, move on.
then again, I did an awful amount of complaining about Excalibur... maybe this my karma ;_;
I've missed the family feeling with the X-Men. Krakoa might have broken new ground, but it also felt completely hollow in terms of soul.Originally Posted by Malachi

People who don't like the premise baffle me. Xavior dream of peacefully co existence haven't been a thing in years. Krakoa was wrong in my Opinion. The premise qnd cast are what draws me to it. I'm buying all 3 main x-titles. In fact only 3 or the 9 i wont be getting is NYX,Phoenix and Storm
X-Men Forever
