I agree. Richard Armitage's arrogance portrayal, as we've seen with Thorin and other roles, is more an aloofness, because he doesn't trust others / has been wounded. Arguably that could apply to some versions of Namor. But Lee Pace's arrogance portrayal, as we've seen with Thandruil and Halt and Catch Fire, is more innate, that of a born and bred Prince of the Realm.
And yes, Lee Pace can definitely turn it on and off. The Piemaker from Pushing Daises is like the anti-Thandruil. I think both actors come across as pretty nice, approachable guys in real life.
What a great idea! But I'm not going to get an aquarium to display my Namor action figures. I have to draw the line somewhere. ; p

Yes, it would be. I'll put giant salt water tank on my list of things to get when I win the lottery. : )
It turns out that Marvel actually has aquarium figures, but somehow neglected to add Namor to the line! WTF?
I did find some cosplay Namors at the Georgia Aquarium, though. Though, I think they needed a gender bender Sue Storm ... though, would that could be Johnny Storm?
A house ad for the beginning of Jae Lee's arc in the 90s Namor.
Which makes me wonder, why is Namor prone to amnesia? Did he have amnesia in any of the Golden Age stuff or is his intro to the Silver Age the first time?
I don't think a single comic could handle the 'sass' of this team. I love how Namor is looking at that little bird. LOL!

Anka is right, it would be FUN! The bickering would exceed the Namor / Hulk bickering of the Defenders.
And Anka isn't the only one who has noticed the resemblance between Namor and Northstar -- who have had a few encounters. There was this fun mock / parody magazine cover.
March looks like a disappointing month for Namor fans. He's not on any covers, nor are we getting any collections featuring him.
Thankfully, James Robinson is using Namor in his FF issue. I'm obviously going to have to read up on Sleepwalker.

So, of course, I had to track down this mention. I didn't find it, but I did find this. Another creator interested in a Namor book. : )
