One of the most beautiful cities with the most beautiful people in the US, Denver.

From one of the events in Chiba, the AOU amusement expo. One of the video game vendors cornered the market on pretty face that day, hehehe.

Back to the Middle East... or Southwest Asia, whichever you prefer.

One of the coolest events I've been to, from a photography standpoint, is the CP+ photography expo in Yokohama. It wasn't only about camera companies showing and selling off their products, they also offered interactive activities and exhibits to encourage the inexperienced, and even the experienced photographer to get the camera shutter going (and hence encourage the selling of their products).

Moehaku was like Car-mi-con. Or some other term defining a mashup between anime/manga and cars. Whatever it is, it made for some great visuals.

Tokyo Motorcycle Show. Lots of models. And lots of motorcycles as well!

Here's photos from the only time I attended the Tokyo International Anime Fair in 2010. Not a fan of anime myself, I just happened to tag along on this occasion and it was a great occasion for photos.

Back to the training grounds of Fort Dix, New Jersey!

On my way to an Iraq deployment a few years ago I had the ultimate layover highlighted by my first experience with German beer, and German women! And to add to good fortune, the flight out of Germany was delayed overnight!

Here's some shots from the US countryside of West Virginia, at Hyperfest.

Sometimes you don't even need to leave the airport to find great photo ops. Frankfurt, Germany was one example... and Incheon International Airport in South Korea is an even greater one.
Some photos from the first cosplay event I attended as a photog, the Yokohama Cosplay Expo. At this point I still hadn't made the transition to DSLR.

More of the friendly faces in uniform. Having a photographer (me) during training brings out smiles and enthusiasm you probably wouldn't see otherwise.
