Team books ignoring solos isn't unheard of. Jason Aaron's Avengers run didn't remove Captain America when Steve was jailed in his solo, or Tony when Arno replaced him as Iron Man (in the Iron Man 2020 series at the end of Slott's run). Stuff like that shouldn't happen, but it does.
