    FINAL NOTES

There are a number of feats that haven't been included in the above posts, for a variety of reasons.

*The Samurai Called Jack (S1E2) included Aku claiming to have stolen the oceans of another world in a different galaxy entirely. Since we don't know any specifics and Aku might have used some of his hi-tech to accomplish the deed, instead of his personal power, I hesitate to call it a feat of his. Particularly because it far dwarfes anything else ever done by Aku.
ALIEN: My lord, we are the Vadaquas from the Mosconian Galaxy. Our water planet has been pillaged. All the oceans that were once our home are gone. We have searched long to find a planet with oceans rich enough to sustain our people. And your world is our last hope for survival.
AKU: I know of your plight, Vadaquian. For you see, I am he who has taken your waters and the riches within them.
*Jack Under the Sea (S1E9) featured the undersea city of the Triceraquins, amphibians who were banished to the bottom of the ocean along with their city by Aku, who promised them to lift their city if they captured Jack for him (only to go back on his promise immediately). Not included as a feat, for exactly the same reasons as the oceal stealing incident.
TRICERAQUIN KING: Due to the nature of our geography, it's not often that we receive visitors. In fact, you're the first. Of course, it wasn't always like this. We were once a very social race. Our people lived on the surface of the ocean and traded with the locals of the mainland. That was, of course, before he came and banished us to the bottom of the sea.
    JACK: Aku.
TRICERAQUIN KING: Yes. But that's ancient history now.
*The Tale of X-9 (S4E11) episode includes a brief flashback in which we see a giant form Aku standing over the collapsing ruins of a modern city. Since we don't know the specific cause of the destruction, it wasn't included above.

*Finally, Aku has shown a couple of times vague (and wildly inconsistent) superhuman senses. In Jack and the Zombies (S3E4), he claimed that he could smell the blood of a hiding Jack (that he immediately eye-beamed his hiding place would seem to support the claim, though), something never shown before or afterwards (including situations in which it would have helped him). Along the same lines, in Jack and the Flying Prince and Princess (S4E8), Aku "sensed a presence" when a hiding Jack removed his sword from its sheath (which would have been useful in a number of situations, including the sword switcheroo nonsense of the next episode).
Where are you, samurai? You can run, but you cannot hide, because l can smell your blood.
And with this, the thread comes to an end, at least in regards to Aku himself. If you want to comment anything, now is a good moment.

    THE GREAT DARKNESS

Though most fans of the show and people who bother with this thread are familiar with the contents of this post, some have asked me to do a little article about the primordial darkness that spawned Aku, so... here you have it.

Appearing only in the first minutes of The Birth of Evil I (S3E11), the Great Darkness was a cosmic entity of enormous size and undetermined intelligence (what little we see of its actions suggests a feral pattern of behaviour). For reasons undetermined, it was eventually hunted down and assaulted by a coalition of three gods: Rama (Hindu pantheon), Odin (Norse pantheon) and Ra (Egyptian pantheon).

    http://imageshack.us/a/img21/7691/pr...knesstheth.jpg

Having failed in its attempts to escape the gods, the Great Darkness was forced to battle them, using the same form of shape-shifting later displayed by Aku... and absolutely no other power. In spite of its desperate struggle and what seem attempts to absorb the gods, the primordial shadow appears to have shared Aku's weakness against holy power. Though not easily, the Great Darkness was eventually defeated and mostly destroyed...

    http://imageshack.us/a/img821/4550/p...knessvsgod.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img812/4550/p...knessvsgod.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img818/3544/p...knessramaa.jpg

...mostly destroyed, because the gods appear to have missed at the time the fall towards a nearby galaxy of the unburned tip of one of the shadow's many tentacles.

    THE FOREST OF EVIL

After an undetermined period of time in intergalactic and interstellar space, the tentacle of the Great Darkness reached a solar system and gravity made it crash against the surface of the third planet, putting an end to the then dominant lifeforms in the planet. In other words, the thing that eventually became Aku was the dino-killer asteroid.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img211/6292/p...knessdinok.jpg

Rather than a crater, the tentacle created a vast pool of bubbling black ooze that for the next sixty million years would suck in animals, plants and eventually humans, sprouting after each absorption spiky tree-like things that formed an ever-growing Forest of Evil.

In the days immediately prior to Jack's birth, the growth of the Forest of Evil threatened with destruction the kingdom ruled by Jack's father.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img717/8286/p...knessevilf.jpg

In the hopes of putting an end to the curse, the emperor had his wizards prepare a potion to banish the evil and prepared an armed expedition to the heart of the darkness. Ambushed by suddenly sprouting trees and cracks in the very ground, only the emperor reached the dark pool in the center of the forest. However, instead of removing the taint, the magic potion actually resulted in the birth and/or release of the demon Aku.

    http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/2402/birthofaku.jpg

The rest, as they say, is history.

    DEMONGO

Though featured in just one episode, Jack versus Demongo, the Soul Collector (S2E10), Demongo is one of the most memorable villains in the series, thanks to a combination of quirky appeareance, strange powerset and winning personality.

According to Aku himself, Demongo is one of his most powerful minions thanks to his power to "enslave the essence" of warriors he defeats and tasked him with the job of beating Jack. Oddly enough, we don't actually get to see how the essence-enslaving bit happens, but since Demongo didn't even try it probably is not something that can be done in the middle of combat.

Power-wise, Demongo has flight and teleportation. And is quite fast with both, since he was able to dodge several attacks from Samurai Jack in close quarters by spamming teleports and then floating above him.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img217/9449/demongoflight.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img845/1427/d...meteleport.jpg

    http://imageshack.us/a/img89/9972/de...peedflight.jpg

He also might also have control over a strange blue fire that appears when Aku first summons him from the Pit of Evil and then when he goes to confront Samurai Jack. However, this fire is not used offensively in Demongo's single appeareance and nothing definite can be said about the matter.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img96/2780/demongosummoned.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img845/1427/d...meteleport.jpg

In terms of offense, Demongo throws one or more of the skulls that cover his torso, bombards it with a yellow energy ray, then laughs as one of the thousands of warriors he keeps inside himself is given new life and sent to combat Demongo's enemies/prospective victims.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img528/6316/d...matesgiant.jpg

And if the reanimated warrior is defeated? No problem. Demongo reabsorbs the essence and can respawn his victim at will with a new skull.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img844/7489/d...ereabsorpt.jpg

Of course, if he is in a hurry, he can animate a whole bunch of people or his whole army of enslaved essences in a few seconds.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img5/2325/dem...rriorsfour.jpg

The members of this army are mostly lacking in feats, logically, although by statements they are all great warriors that managed to make themselves a nuisance to Aku. Little specific, however, except that four of them gave Jack some trouble and that they are one colorful bunch, which includes at least one giant, sumo ninja frogs, shuriken throwing mummies, knights with extending mace-hands, robots with machineguns for hands and lots more weirdoes.

Ultimately, Demongo was defeated when Jack grasped a cloud of essence being reabsorbed. This allowed Jack to access the astral dimension inside Demongo where the true selves of the enslaved warriors were being kept and from where they were freed thanks to Jack's sword. This left a now powerless Demongo to the tender mercies of the guys he had wronged.

    ULTRA-ROBOTS (I)

    Background

Appearing only in Jack and the Ultra-robots (S2E5), these machines represent the very best in robotics ever faced with Jack (along with giant robot Mondo Bot). These killer robots were designed by one Exdor and powered by fragments of Aku, who decided to test them upon activation by making them blow up Exdor's village (in violation of previous promises of safety in exchange for the creation of the robots).

    http://imageshack.us/a/img41/3967/ul...rvillagede.jpg

Afterwards, the ultra-robots went on a rampage through several villages and cities, hoping that their crimes would draw the attention of Samurai Jack. They were successful in this and managed to soundly defeat the samurai thanks to their adamantium armor and advanced weapons systems, but failed to kill him.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img33/38/ultr...reaftervil.jpg

Jack managed to escape and was contacted by Exdor, who wanted to help him to get his revenge. With a robotic arm provided by the scientist, Jack was strong enough to cut the adamantium bodies and killed seven of the eight robots before the device exhausted its energy. In order to defeat the last, sword-wielding ultra-robot, Jack had to call upon his honored ancestors, who provided him with a one-time power-up for his sword that allowed him to cut down this final enemy too.

    ULTRA-ROBOTS (II)

    Powers and abilities

The very high durability granted by their adamantium armor is the main trait shared by the eight Ultra-bots and which set them apart from other robots faced by Jack during his adventures in the future. This durability allowed them to completely no-sell with no damage whatsoever several of Jack's sword strikes, despite his sword's magical nature.

Despite the name, however, this adamantium is not QUITE as completely indestructible like the Marvel super-metal, since Jack managed to overcome it with a strength enhancing glove (for seven of the robots) and by increasing the magic power of his sword (for the last).

Other than this, all the ultra-bots can turn themselves into baskets for camouflage (they can also rapidly roll around in this form) and share a number of different vision modes (heat vision and a green vision mode which allowed them to see Jack through a smoke screen).

    http://imageshack.us/a/img525/7963/u...etdisguise.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img820/8753/u...heatvision.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img89/1120/ul...visionmods.jpg

However, in spite of the above similarities, the eight ultra-bots are all equipped with different weapons.

Buzzsaws: An ultra-bot had buzzsaws, made from the same material as its armor, instead of hands. It showed no ability for ranged combat and lacked secondary armaments.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img59/1911/ul...zzsawhands.jpg

Claws: An ultra-bot with four claws, instead of fingers. These claws were attached to adamantium chains, allowing him to throw his claws at distant targets for mid-range attacks.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img820/4884/u...tendoclaws.jpg

Cloak: An ultra-bot with the ability to make itself invisible at will. Strictly a close quarters combatant with larger-than-normal hands that allowed it to deliver enormously powerful blows.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img51/591/ultrabotscloaking.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img571/1661/u...kingbeatdo.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img402/7835/u...kingdecloa.jpg

Explosive: This ultra-bot's weapon was a chest-mounted launcher of explosive cable, which he could use to cause rather powerful explosions. It showed some decent skill with its cable launching and managed, at one point, to wrap one of his explosive cables around Jack's wrists.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img826/5107/u...osivecable.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img811/5107/u...osivecable.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img825/3892/u...osiveroboc.jpg

Flamethrower: An ultra-bot with flamethrowers in place of hands. In addition to the ability to project flame from its "hands", it could also defend itself by creating a fireball around its body. Moreover, this fireball could be expanded for AoE attacks of great power (at the greatest observed yield, the effects seem equivalent to the detonation of a low yield nuke).

    http://imageshack.us/a/img534/6164/u...eaoeattack.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img812/2718/u...fireballru.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img836/7651/u...flamethrow.jpg

Gun: Ultra-bot armed with two gatling-guns at the end of its arms with a high rate of fire. Along with the shuriken ultra-robot destroyed the explosive cable ultra-robot in a friendly fire accident, showing that their weapons are powerful enough to penetrate the adamantium armor.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img39/8607/ultrabotsgunhands.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img846/5421/u...riendlyfir.jpg

Shuriken: An ultra-bot with rotative arms who attacked by launching shurikens. Though relatively less powerful in offense that some of his fellows, he could launch his projectiles faster than Samurai Jack could deflect them. Along with the gun ultra-robot destroyed the explosive cable ultra-robot in a friendly fire accident, showing that their weapons are powerful enough to penetrate the adamantium armor.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img854/7118/u...tsshuriken.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img600/9765/u...ikenoverco.jpg

Sword: A sword wielding robot and the last ultra-robot standing. Showed great skills with the blade, enough to match Samurai Jack in sword combat, deflect laser bolts with its blade or cut an humanoid robot four times, before the pieces could hit the ground.

    DJ SALVATORE

DJ Salvatore (pictured above) was a minion of Aku, of undetermined rank within the evil hordes, who was in charge of a brainwashing operation in Jack and the Rave (S3E2), which involved using hypnotic music in concerts to make the children of a town brainwashed slaves of Aku.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img502/7737/d...ainwashing.jpg

When Jack interrupted his concert, he first tried to get his brainwashed victims to fight him, only for Jack to make his way to the stage and confront him directly. During the ensuing battle, DJ Salvatore used a surprisingly effective fighting style (apparently built around breakdancing moves) that allowed him to hold his own for a couple of minutes against Jack, before being kicked from the stage.

During this segment, it was also shown that his non-human body allowed him to survive injuries that would have killed a normal human, such as having his neck twisted 540º by one of Jack's blows.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img594/6792/d...nstandardb.jpg

Also, despite lacking superpowers of his own, DJ Salvatore was armed with some of Aku's advanced technology, including a gold tooth that could project laser beams (albeit not very powerful ones) and a wrist control that allowed him to turn his stage equipment into a giant robot.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img585/6598/d...sergoldtoo.jpg

Other than the bizarre source of its components, the giant robot was not too impressive (nor particularly large) as far as these things go. It was armed with pulse laser guns and was able to give Jack a few good punches, but showed no particular durability once the samurai got his second wind and started cutting parts with his sword.

    MINIONS OF SET (I)

    Background

As with the Ultrabots, the Minions of Set manage to be memorable foes despite appearing only in a single episode (Jack in Egypt, S3E5) and do so in spite of the handicap of not speaking at all during their single appeareance.

A flashback to Jack's child-hood in ancient Egypt tells us that these were creatures sent by the evil god Set to cause mayhem in the land of Egypt and that they were only sealed in a tomb, when the pharaoh called upon the powers of the other gods.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img703/8016/m...ypthistory.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img339/7188/m...istoryrele.jpg

Long after that, Aku unseals the Minions and is delighted to see that their badass reputation is well justified, when they decimate an army of robots in a matter of moments. As it happens, the Minions owe Aku a service for their release and that service is to be the elimination of one foolish samurai who happens to be heading towards the temple for unclear reasons.

That very night, Jack arrives at the temple and discovers that the Minions have been released. 0.01 seconds after the discovery, they attack him and give him one brutal beatdown. Upon discovering that these are foes that he cannot hope to overcome on his own, Jack recalls a method to call for divine help written in the carvings of the temple, in case the Minions ever escaped.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img442/3014/m...1initialbe.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img528/1540/minionsvsjack2.jpg

What follows is a tense running battle, in which things look pretty bad for Jack at points, while he assembles the artifact he needs for the summon.

In the end, however, Jack manages to summon the sun god Ra. At this point, a couple of the Minions attack the god and are destroyed straightaway, while the final creature futilely tries to escape from Ra's deadly eyebeams.

    MINIONS OF SET (II)

    Powers and abilities

Stat-wise, the Minions of Set have a good deal of superhuman strength. With their weapons, they cut down enormous stone pillars, tore apart Aku's robots, repeteadly overpowered Jack and, at least twice, hit him hard enough that he left a hole several centimeters deep in a solid stone wall.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img29/1558/mi...thjackforc.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img822/6660/m...thjackpunc.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img15/117/min...thpillarta.jpg

In terms of speed, they are very quick with their attacks. Besides generic blitzing of a lot of robot mooks and more than keeping up with Jack, the Minions could do things like cutting a robot in a dozen pieces before the first fragments could hit the ground.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img593/9569/minionsquickcuts.jpg

They also have high agility that allows them to make enormous leaps, run on walls or ceilings (possibly using their claws for traction) and by running on all fours can outrun Jack.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img846/2518/m...ingrunning.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img402/263/mi...allrunning.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img10/9373/mi...gonallfour.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img203/9805/m...thsuperjum.jpg

Completing their impressive physical stats, the Minions of Set displayed high level regeneration. Jack cut the arm of one and slashed open its torso, only for the Minion to heal the injury and regrow the limb in seconds. Moreover, these creatures aren't affected by Jack's sword like Aku.

Beyond raw stats, the Minions were armed with weapons that burned with magic blue flame. It is shown at one point that they can use this flame for ranged attacks and one uses his as a homing spinning projectile, much like the Kienzan from Dragonball Z.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img831/3295/minionweapons.jpg

    http://imageshack.us/a/img820/7403/m...ergyblasts.jpg

Other than this, their only other noteworthy ability were keen senses, since they were using hearing and scent to track Jack in the ruins of the Egyptian temple.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img341/6251/minionsscent.jpg

To finish, I'll mention that despite not talking and looking like animals, the Minions of Set were shown to be intelligent (more than most villains, actually). Upon realizing that Jack was assembling the scarab talisman he required to summon Ra and destroy the Minions, they tried to deny him the last piece by swallowing it. Rare use of brains for cartoon villains, even if it did them no good in the end.

    CYBERNINJA

Samurai versus Ninja (S4E1) featured the cybershinobi, Aku's latest super-assassin.

Well programmed in the ninja arts of assassination, the cybershinobi was capable of becoming damn near invisible in low luminosity areas, thanks to a combination of dark coloration and excellent stealth ability.

Its aptitude for stealth made its fight against Jack, one of the most remarkable action sequences in a series incredibly full of excellent fights, in combination with the robot's more than decent fighting skills, great agility and sufficient brute strength to break thick wooden supports in half with a kick or a sword slash.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img132/1551/c...wordstrike.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img13/4484/cy...trengthkic.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img19/2553/cy...trengthcut.jpg

Its durability, however, was nothing special. At the end of their fight, Jack discovered the robot's position and destroyed it by throwing his sword. This pierced the robot's chest and nailed it to a wooden support.

    X-9

Tale of X-9 (S4E11) has for protagonist X-9, the last surviving robot of the X series, Aku's first type of combat droid, prior to the construction of his hordes of beetle drones.

The X series robots were essentially skinless Terminators who wore garb reminiscent of noir genre detectives, who in combat dual-wielded high-caliber semi-automatic handguns. Their only unusual feature of note was an auto-reloading system which allowed them to quickly exchange clips without lowering their weapons.

X-9 was essentially the same as all the other robots in the X series, except for an emotional chip that one of Aku's evil scientists put in his brain for the lulz. As it turned out, emotions gave X-9 self-preservation and a pride in his ability that made him superior to his peers.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img29/3363/x9emotionschip.jpg

Eventually, X-9 encountered Lulu, a little dog, that he grew fond of. This resulted in X-9 retiring and devoting his days to playing music in front of Lulu (sweet thing), until Aku kidnapped his little dog and blackmailed his former minion into coming out of retirement to deal with the demon's little samurai problem. As can be imagined, this did not go well for poor X-9.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img839/89/x9music.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img405/8841/x9lulusweetthing.jpg

The fate of Lulu (sweet thing) after the events of the episode remains unknown.

    IMAKANDI (I)

    Background

The titular hunters in episode Jack and the Hunters (S2E9), the Imakandi were aliens recruited by Aku to hunt Jack, after the failure of untold numbers of bounty hunters.

The Imakandi, rejected Aku's offer of riches in payment, but accepted the task for the possibility of a challenging hunt. They made their way to Earth and, in short order, managed to locate and capture Samurai Jack.

However, hearing that he was about to be handed to Aku, gave Jack a second wind and he escaped. This resulted in a high speed chase through the sewers of one of Earth's great cities, that eventually led hunters and prey towards the top of one of the highest skyscrapers in the city.

There, at the top of the building, Samurai Jack was finally knocked out and recaptured, before he could plunge to his death.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img221/4776/i...afterkojac.jpg

At this point, Aku appeared and congratulated the hunters for their success, before demanding that they hand over the samurai. The Imakandi, however, defied the demon and, following their traditional way of the hunt (requiring them to release alive truly challenging prey), escaped taking Jack with them to the place in which they had encountered him for the first time.

    IMAKANDI (II)

    Powers and abilities

Being primarily hunters, the Imakandi have crazy skill in regards to stalking their prey. So much so, that they were able to sneak up on Jack, while he was having dinner, with him remaining unaware of their presence until all four of them were about an arm's length away from him.

Their senses, particularly hearing and smell, are also extremely good. They were able to track Jack by scent to a distant location within moments of reaching Earth, then kept doing the same during a chase through the sewers of a major city. And, at the end of the chase, they located Jack because they heard the sound of his clothes flapping on the wind.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img89/9724/imakandismellp.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img713/343/imakandihearing.jpg

Much the same can be said in regards to their physical stats. Strength-wise, one of the Imakandi was able to block one of Jack's sword strikes (a two handed strike) by catching the blade of the sword between his palms. Speed-wise, the hunters are noticeably faster than Jack and able to catch up with him, even after he stole a futuristic flying motorbike and escaped from them with the maximum speed. And their balance is also excellent, at least as good as Jack's own.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img38/3940/im...outrunflyi.jpg
    http://imageshack.us/a/img191/1339/imakandibalance.jpg

In terms of equipment, the Ikamandi mostly use non-lethal tools, such as twin spears that zap with electricity anything between them, blowgun darts full of sleeping poison, ropes (very good with lassos) and arrows that are actually snakes with non-lethal poisons.

No, really. They caught Jack because he grabbed one of their arrows and then it bit him in the hand.

In addition to all the above, the Imakandi displayed some magic ability that manifested with blue fire, reminiscent of Demongo's flames and the Minions of Set's burning weapons.

To list the instances of magic use, the group of hunters who tracked down Jack were transported from their homeworld to Earth by a blue fireball generated by some kind of shamanistic ritual, these same hunters later teleported with Jack to escape from Aku, and finally left behind a torch that generated a image of the head hunter that explained to Jack their reasons for allowing him to escape free.

    AKU'S ROBOT ARMY (I)

    Background

According to Tale of X-9 (S4E11), during his initial conquest of Earth, Aku was unsatisfied with the speed of his advance, so he made the evil scientists in his employ build him an army. A robot army.

After a number of less than satisfactory prototypes...

...the Evil Scientists eventually satisfied the demands of their dark master with the creation of the X series robots. These robotic gunmen, though limited in terms of intelligence, proved effective enforcers.

Some time afterwards, however, the Evil Scientists developed a new type of combat robot and the X series was phased out of service, except for X-9 (previously described) who retired along with his dog, Lulu.

These new combat robots were the...

    Beetle Drones

The Beetle Drones are the basic infantry of Aku's modern robot army.

Though completely lacking in ranged attacks, these seven feet robots are rather dangerous in close quarters combat thanks to their four scythe-arms, can crawl quite fast when running on all six limbs and, at least some units, have wings that allow them to fly.

Moreover, the beetle drones can be attached to ground vehicles designed for such a purpose, giving them the potential for swift deployment.

Overall, in terms of combat capability, these things aren't exactly impressive and much lacking in flexibility. However, even though Samurai Jack may in some episodes take down these things by the thousands, they have shown enough durability in a couple instances to prove that they could be genuinely dangerous against enemies without high yield weaponry.

AKU'S ROBOT ARMY (II) - Other robots

Though the Beetle Drones were by far the robots we saw the most often, Aku's evil scientists (and enslaved non-evil scientists) have created some other robots for the shogun of sorrow.

    Arab Robots

Hulking, four armed robots that wear stereotypical Arabian garb. Appeared briefly in Jack and the Warrior Woman (S1E6) and Jack in Egypt (S3E5). They can talk (unlike Beetle Drones) and appear to be somewhat more intelligent. Their only weapons are the scimitars they wield and their perfomance is not particularly superior to the Beetle Drones.

    Slim Robots

Thin, humanoid robots that appeared only in Samura versus Samurai (S4E3). Mostly armed with knives, though at least one carried an energy weapon that somehow materialized restraints around people. Aku claimed that these robots were his most powerful and advanced assassins to date, but the fact that Jack destroyed hundreds of them with a bamboo stick suggests that the claim doesn't hold water. These things underperformed in comparison to the beetle drones and that takes quite some doing.

Nevertheless, their scrap showed the interesting ability to reform into a giant robot. Not a very impressive giant robot (with a single non-lethal energy attack and limited to crawling around), but a step up from predecessors all the same.

    Mantis Robot

Seen only in Jack in Space (S1E5), these droids appear to be the heavy weapons platforms of Aku's horde with two autocannons, one double-barreled machine-gun and a number of rockets built into their frame.

Though their destructive capacity appars to be far greater than their durability, they are also more intelligent than the beetle drones and, in case of encountering strong resistance, their heads can rocket away to Aku's HQ to summon reinforcements.

    Tick Robot

Also from Jack in Space, these dog-sized drones are part of Aku's space forces. They are capable of flying through space and they can drill through the hull of spaceships, but little else.

    Mosquito Robot

From Jack in Space, same as the above. These mechanical insects can pierce the hulls of spaceships with their spear like proboscis and suck out their fuel reserves. In direct combat, they are limited to trying to stab their opponents.

    Wasp Robot

The final type of combat robot seen in Jack in Space and the most impressive example of Aku's known aerospace forces.

Individually, the wasp drones can fire over half a dozen guided missiles of modest yield, but if this amount of firepower proves inadequate to take down an opponent several dozen robots can fuse to form a giant energy cannon and fire an energy beam of high destructive power.

In the episode, Jack was able to block and reflect the energy beam with his sword. This resulted in the destruction of the energy canon and a truly enormous explosion that propelled the samurai towards Earth's surface from outer space.
