Marvel version of NetherRealm's "Injustice"

Partly because of the upcoming "Axis" event (looking forward to some good old-fashioned good-guys-vs-bad-guys!), and partly because I've been playing Injustice quite a bit recently (excellent video game even if you're not a huge gamer), I got to wondering about who would be chosen for a Marvel version of this DC-centric game! I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

Rules are simple: pick twelve heroes and twelve villains that would be playable in Marvel-Injustice. It must be 24 characters exactly; "borderline" characters like Deadpool or the Sentry need to be specifically labelled as one of your hero choices or one of your villain choices. Basically, take a look at my list for guidance:

I think Marvel vs Capcom pretty much covers a fighting game. It is also better.

Personally, I like to see a MOBA from Marvel.

This is a fun idea! It kinda depends on the overall them or the story. If it includes a cosmic part of the story I'd put in Thanos and Drax but maybe not otherwise. But anyway's, here's mine:

I'd add Madame Masque if you wanted more female villains. She's more of an Avengers villain anyway.

Nah, I think they could really pull of the Logan/Deathstrike rivally. Plus, Deathstrike would play as a faster, more agile version of Wolverine. I might change Annihilus for Juggernaut though.

You really shouldn't have a fighting game without Elektra.

I want to see a good re-attempt of the Rise of the Imperfects game.

Dang, some solid suggestions! Love Elektra, Crossbones, Annihilus, and Lady Deathstrike in particular; all great ideas! Sad I missed them... Maybe I'd sub Daredevil for Elektra and have Daredevil make an appearance in her fatality, but I'm conflicted on that since Daredevil is my favorite hero!

Hhhmm..Injustice had a roster of 24 and pulled from different aspects of its universe (Batman, Superman, Justice League, Titans, Green Lantern). It also had a split roster of heroes and villains, and it had 6 female characters (3 heroes and 3 villains). Keeping that in mind, here's my roster:

Well, neither is Catwoman by comic book standards, but they both fit on the "villains" side because of their questionable morals/methods.

I would LOVE for Medusa to be playable in a video game in general (her sister, Crystal, too), but she's got a ways to go before she would considered worthy IMO.
