I definitely feel you. You know if Wood and Smallwood don't work on the book and Marvel decides to continue it with a new creative team rather than cancel I would LOVE for them to swoop down and grab China Mieville and Andrea Sorrentino from DC.

Mieville's work on Dial H was great and he's a big fan of "weird fiction" so I'd think he'd do wonders on Moonie. Sorrentino's Green Arrow work alone showed me that she would be a perfect fit for the kind of book.

    Some examples of her work:

Sorrentino or Marco Checchetto would kick all kinds of tail on a Moon Knight book. As I've said, I'm open to trying anyone who attempts Moon Knight, whether or not I like it is another story.

Now that we've seen them all in action what have been everyone's feelings on the costume changes. Do you think we will see the skull wear again in this last issue before Ellis leaves?

We'll see the first two for sure. The last... probably. But should we? I dunno, I kinda feel like it was awesome as a one-time surprise.

Been reading the current. Really loving Moon Knight, can someone give me the rundown of the older runs that are good?

    Hey man!

I recommend Moon Knight Volume 5. It was a 30 issue run from 06-09. Really well written and some great art.

Vengeance of Moon Knight was a 10 run in 2009. I enjoyed this as well.

Also, I would check out Secret Avengers Volume 1. The first 20 issues or so are spot on, and have some great Moon Knight content.

Did anyone else fall in love with Jamie Mckelvie's art in this issue? I seriously thought it was stunning. 11/10

Anyone unhappy with what Wood's doing? I really liked (as a long time MK fan) what Ellis had did with Spector's reboot. Slick, streamlined and mysterious but with an overtly supernatural theme permeating through it. It wasn't perfect and you could argue that it needed serious fleshing out. Wood was clearly tasked with this. #8 felt like a regression from Ellis had set-up. We're back to the convoluted DID stuff and Flint's 'freak beat' is nowhere to be seen?

I'm pretty furious at Brian Wood. What's he playing at?

I just finished the trade of Eliis's run. I thought it was one of the best books I've read in a while

Agreed. I wish Wood was carrying on with the book in this path. Maybe expand on what Ellis didn't. He's going in a whole different direction from where I'm seeing it and I don't like it.

It sounds like I'll be skipping his run
