Em...yes they did die. Generation M, New X-Men, X-Men v2 (Gazer), Uncanny X-Men (Meggan), Astonishing X-Men (Chinese X-Men), X-Men 198 (Magmas boyfriend) and plenty of other issues showed that they died. They didn't just die in the 616 Universe, they died across the Marvel Omniverse (Excalibur).

Wanda's Chaos wave also weakened the fabric of space and time allowing the Shadow King entry (Exaclibur), the Vault to occur as stated in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I think it is lame that the only way people can defend the Scarlet Witch is by bringing up Cyclops or the Phoenix it really makes them seem like they have no ground to stand on.

What's even more ridiculous is that given the sliding time scale it's probably only been about a year since Wanda committed genocide. And she's pissed off that the mutants haven't got over it yet.

I kind of like how she sees herself as the biggest victim of M day. Ridiculous.

She could kill herself like she was planning to do before the genocide. *shrug* It would be a start.

I don't know how anybody could support her. But for those who do - we will never forget. We will bear witness to her crimes. We will berate her for eternity. Until my dying day I will curse the name of the Scarlet Witch and decry her apologists.

Please think deeply about your affection for this character and the deeper meaning if you choose to support her.

See this what I have been saying as a a X-fan and just to point it out I am not even a fan of the character nothing Wanda could do will ever be good enough so what would be the point of having a redemption story. I am not saying you have to like the character or even forgive the character but what is the point of writing it or even hinting at it from marvels standpoint when they know most X-fans will not accept it.

She could also date Cyclops and have a few alternate-future babies with him. That would be a good start...

HELL NO! A good start will be if Marvel gave Scarlet Witch her own solo series and just plagiarized the hell out of Rurouni Kenshin.

It seems like so many are ready to write Cyclops off as a character for that story which, by all accounts, was handled horribly, but they don't like to accept the later additions to said story like Maddie was already psychically manipulating him by that point and that was the only reason he left the X-Men to go off with her in the first place.

And no one wants to call Claremont on his crap for setting the whole thing up by having Cyke marry a Jean lookalike anyway.
Adventures was a white washing. Why? He chose his little childhood love and allowed the circumstances for his son to be infected...A feat so tragic that he sent him into that hellish future where Stryfe and Apocalypse had control.

Maddie was controlling him? Lol. Was she controlling when he had sex with the lookalike of his girl who died and then got her pregnant. Summers was a perfect patsy for Sinister. Maddie was victim of circumstances beyond her control. What kind of self respecting human being is gonna blame her? Doesn't even make any sense. Summers was white washed..just like they justified his silly affair with Emma over the "love of his life". What was the excuse then? Apocalypse influence? Lol. Always a excuse when it's time for him to have sex with a new chick, eh? And every body has been cheerleading his Magneto lite gimmick hard since 2011 even though it was Hope and Wanda that brought mutant prosperity back.

Disassembled, House of M and Decimation still happened. Wanda is a deeply disturbed person, with a dangerous amount of power. . Yet, she definitely should not be allowed to walk around free. That's just simple logic. She should be imprisoned . And she definitely needs to be mentally checked out and cleared..She deserves a criminal trial for her actions,

Yes, she should be blamed. Intention is irrelevant; all that matters are our actions and their ensuing consequences. She suffered a loss, but that doesn't excuse or justify the devastation she caused. She made her choice, and now she has to live with the consequences.she certainly shouldn't be walking around a free person or be allowed to rejoin the Avengers. She should be in prison or under controlled observation at the very least.

Imprisoned. How? That's like imprisoning the Silver Surfer. That's absurd.

She's not that powerful anymore. The Illuminati have the means to keep Terrax, a Herald of Galactus, imprisoned, so Wanda, or the Silver Surfer for that matter, aren't a problem.

Given that she doesn't have the life force anymore, she probably can be imprisoned but in all honesty she shouldn't be operating on an Avengers team for unity. Now that is absurd.
