If there was a new marvel now series which character reboot would be best for an lgbt character?

I agree with many who would rather see existing characters or new characters get used but it you had to reboot.

Black Knight
Scarlet Spider
Silver Surfer

strike me as easy changes with no major upsets to their pasts.

Hercules and Starfox could be explored more in this area as someone said.

I also agree the social part of superhero lives is of little interest to me. The only good date is one that is interrupted by a supervillian but they have their place as back story.

Partly because I love the character.
Also because even though him having some sort of an affair with Northstar was alluded to, it was never unambiguously confirmed.
In my head cannon Herc gets drunk and puts the moves on Captain America, who gets frightfully embarrassed and never speaks of it again. Please Marvel.

I'd love Madrox to pop out a transvestite dupe. Or I'd like his gay dupe to reappear.

Magik. She's never really had a relationship, so it wouldn't be much of a retcon. She's so terrifying with those she's close to; (remember how she emotionally speared her brother in Gillen's run?) so I'd love to see her with a girlfriend. Maybe even Valkyrie, who's familiar with mystical ****. The demon Russian sorceress and Asgardian warrior woman would be a really striking couple.

I forgot to add: Machinesmith as Superior Iron Man. I don't believe Superior Iron Man is anyone but Tony BUT it would be cool to see an LGBT character take over not only Iron Man's mantle, but Stark for a while.

I'd argue who the latest Bond Girl is a part of the appeal. And Daniel Craig's relationship with her was a big part of "Casino Royale"

Changing existing "straight" characters for the sake of diversity and no other reason doesn't sit well and rarely works.

Pretty much any Skrull should be seriously gender-confused. Truth be told, I've never understood why Skrulls represent themselves as male or female.

Hickman should have used him instead of one or both of the New Mutants rejects.

They've added nothing and gone no where within the story he's told, at least with LL it would have brought him out of limbo and he already had Avengers connections, plus it would have ended the whole 'which member' stuff

Agreed on all counts. Living Lightning needs to come back. He can be the Avengers Northstar. What was his job before the Avengers, do we know (like how Northstar was an Olympic skier/terrorist... #awkward)
