Sorry to bump,this thread again, but it looks like Banner may have backed the wrong horse again, with working with his former tormentors given the upcoming Avengers vs Illuminati fight.

As long as Hulk and Banner switch to Cap's side sometime during the upcoming battle, I'm fine with them being involved.

I can't help but think, Hickman through Hulk under the bus just so he could be a 'badguy' in all this, hell he didn't even show up until a handful of issues before they had the big 'cross the line' issue.

I mean it would be one thing to show the character to be in the wrong, but having him be in the wrong and deal with a group he was so opposed to in the past, it almost kinda feels like a shot against the character and his fans.

I'm hoping I'm wrong about this. But I'm probably not.
