You really think they wont be helping it in the end? They're Avengers, they aren't going to end up like the X-Men who lose out and the Avengers have to save those poor Mutants from the Red Skull in their stead.

i'm excited to see the inverted scarlet witch. maybe she will be a compassionate and rational nurturing figure who spreads peace among the land. possibly have it in her heart to adopt a few unfortunate mutant children and give them a better life.

Anyone recognize the character in flames? Pretty sure it's not Sunfire... Jim Hammond, maybe?
They've made it a point to make Jim look less human when he flames on, so I wouldn't come out and say that it's him. However, because consistency across all books don't exist, it might be. Actually, I'm curious about what's happening to Toro in Invaders and if this could be him instead.

Sooooo….it looks like Spider-man and the X-Men will be replacing WatXM. Not sure how I feel about that. I mean, I get that Wolvie's gonna be dead and all, but at least give one of the X-Men the title. Spidey's not even gonna be headmaster and he's on the title? Seems weird to me.
I'm definitely gonna be picking up all the main AXIS stuff, and the books related to Death of Wolverine. I guess it's gonna hafta be my Wolvie fix for now. :/
Also, holy s#!t with the Spidey in EVERYTHING. Jeeze. I mean, you hear people whining all the time about Wolverine being in so many books, but Spider-man is freaking EVERYWHERE. What gives? You don't see people bitching about that. Jus' sayin'.
I'm cranky 'cuz my favorite comic book character is gonna be dead. Grr. And stuff.

    Wow! Marvel is destroying!

There's so much interesting stuff there, i think Marvel's goal is to see me go broke. There's probably 30 things there i'd strongly consider buying if i took a guess on how many. No presents for anyone this year.

Am i reading that right? Steve McNiven's art in Death of Wolverine will be over sized in that collection? Is that what it means "Trim: Oversized"?

Omg @ "The Secret Life of Eva Bell", with art by Andrea Sorrentino and a cover by Dustin Nguyen... i like Eva Bell and that sounds great. [Although, would've preferred K. Immonen on it instead of Bendis, even if he created her]

Is "SHIELD #1" based on the TV series?

Not exactly set in the universe of the SHIELD TV series, but it's definitely inspired by it (Coulson as team leader, several characters from the show appearing). I'd say it's a comic version of the show that's set in the main Marvel U.

It had been bothering me all morning. I couldn't figure out where I've seen that Skottie Young cover before. Then it occurred to me. Young's "Rocket Raccoon" cover looks strikingly similar to Bachalo's "Wolverine & the X-Men" #2. Homage or lazy copy job. Take a look and judge for yourself:

I'd say not. TBH, his monthly pull list looks mine for just this Wednesday. (Seriously. This weeks is costing me about $140.)

Some of us tend to purchase a good 10-15 titles a week. Twice that if we include other publishers in the mix. It sounds like a terribly large number. I know. However, expense-wise, it's not too different than maybe getting a new game or two each week, which plenty of people do.

The REAL problem is not expense, but storage. Personally, I've been collecting comics for a good 30 years. Do the math. Suppose, on the low end, I only buy 10 comics each week. I do that for 30 years. That's a 15k+ comics. Getting "only" 15 comics each week, that number climbs to 23k+ comics over that 30 year period. Honestly? I've got a good deal more than that. I've got a bunch of books from way before 1984, including a bunch of stuff from the 70s and some very early issues of Avengers & X-Men from the 60s. Just imagine trying to store all of those issues. Not easy. Nope.

Jameszahra's list might seem huge to you, but it's pretty small to collector types.
