Deathlok vs The Winter Soldier (MCU Versions)

Two of Hydra's most formidable assets are pitted against each other. Which one will prevail?

A. Arena match with both equipped with all the weapons and gear they've ever had.

B. After the events of the movie Hydra decides it is time to retrieve their apparently rogue asset for reconditioning. Fortunately for Hydra, Bucky has a subcutaneous homing beacon with enough remaining power to allow The Winter Soldier to be tracked by them for the next twenty four hours. Not wanting to take half-measures, Deathlok is dispatched to subdue him. Deathlok's orders are to bring back a living Winter Soldier, though he doesn't necessarily have to be in pristine condition. Bucky has whatever he had on him at the end of the movie but is free to obtain weapons and gear anyway he can if he has the opportunity. Can the supersoldier fight off or elude Deathlok's attempt to capture him for 24 hours and then give him the slip or will the cyborg bring The Winter Soldier back to his masters?

If its just to elude the guy for 24 hours, sure I don't see why not. Dude seemed moderately capable of stealth via his tracking and attempted murder of Fury, plus the stipulation of him being able to use weapons he finds means he could hold off Deathlok or even disable him.

Without outside assistance, I don't see how Deathlok even finds Bucky in 24 hours. The dude was a ghost to every intelligence agency in the world for 60 years.

Without outside assistance, I don't see how Deathlok even finds Bucky in 24 hours. The dude was a ghost to every intelligence agency in the world for 60 years.

Keep in mind that in match B Bucky has a Hydra homing beacon that Deathlok could use to track him until its power runs down. So for 24 hours Deathlok will be able to track the signal to The Winter Soldier's vicinity. After 24 hours, if Bucky can manage to give him the slip then he's home free.


Incidentally, any opinions on the arena fight?

For the arena fight, Bucky is a hell of a lot quicker and, with "all the weapons ever" he's got assault rifles, a sniper rifle, a 12-round grenade launcher and the Fury-Car-Blowed-Up gun. That ought to be enough to put down Mike.
