If there's a writer I trust to write a decent Phoenix story, it's Hickman. AvX 6 was the best part of AvX. A lesser writer would just go "the phoenix is crazy! fear it!". There's so much more to it.

Yeah Hickman/Gillen did my favorite part of the AvX seres. The only thing is if there's enough time to actually go forth with a Phoenix Egg plot. We already got a lot of sub-plots going on that are slowly converging.

More questions in the two new issues and with the Hickman books shipping only twice in Janurary and Feburary I wonder if he will be able to answer everything without it feeling rushed before Secret Wars.

Now Hank Pym is even missing from his current team Illuminati roster on the front page.

When Sunspot says Illuminati sent someone to find the source, probably he is referring to Pym, as the only missing members unaccounted for besides Doctor Strange.

Yeah there's plenty of characters off the board currently that Hickman can toss in to show as Steve's hidden team.

After reading both Avengers and New Avengers, I'm not sure who has the most seemingly impossible task. The multiversal Avenger team missoin, Roberto's efforts of reunification, or the solution that Doom is trying. Plus that wild card Hickman placed with the Phoenix Egg.

After today's issue of UXM, the Phoenix egg comment =MM. Not to be taken literal.
