Meh, if we go with the whole "everyone has a soul that goes to Heaven" line of thinking, no one really dies anyway. Their body becomes useless, but y'know...Heaven.

Anyways. Cyclops rendered Xavier's body useless, which is about as dead as anyone could get going with the above.

I'm not entirely sure that would clear Scotts name to be honest. The unlawful act was still committed. Course, the whole issue of possession might clear Scott but he'd likely have to surrender himself in court for that to happen, unless someone pardons him.

One way or the other I'm sure this will all be swept under the rug though. It's not an issue of if Scott gets off the hook but how and when.

it's NOT a non-issue. the writer is trying to MAKE it a non-issue by having these characters take a ridiculous action. you or others may be ok with it, but that doesn't reflect reality or the unfortunate position that rogue is now put in.
