Default Cover Contest Sept 17 - Sept 23

The subject for this weeks contest is:
    Mistakes were made.
Everyone makes mistakes. Why should comic book characters be any different?
Please post a cover that shows someone making a big mistake - the bigger the better.
    Example:

There goes Spock again! *sad trombone noise*

The perpetual rules of the contest:
Post one, and only one, cover that fits the theme of the contest.
Cover must be from an published comic book or collected volume.
Covers must be posted before voting begins.
Voting runs from 12 AM Tuesday until 12 AM Wednesday PST .
Vote by posting the name in bold of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most.
The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.
    Have fun!

They didn't let the Wookiee win. He really wanted one of those watches, too.

Hope is not lost today. It is found.

    Umm . . . a mistake was made?
May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

    Oops.

That's what I get for copy+pasting last weeks rules without reviewing them first.

This is a legendary mistake from the 1950s. The production department misread the instruction "Drop an Inch" and thought it was a title. Undaunted, Robert Kanigher promptly scripted a story with that title and slotted it for this issue rather than have it redone.

    Full story here.
