Not really. This may not be the year to introduce them, but F list characters like Legion are doing well in their tv shows. You need good actors, writers, directors, and all, but it's possible.

They could start out slow too. Introduce one eternal, such as Sersi, and once that character takes off introduce the others. I'm not sure why Marvel hasn't had her as an Avenger in such a long time.

I'd rather see a standalone Eternals series outside the MCU.
Maybe do the first season as a mini-series to see how it does.

If Namor TV gets good CGI perhaps a Celestial will be shown sinking Atlantis and the Eternals could be the implied gods of men at that time or such.

Gilgamesh? The Forgotten One? Yeah, it would be nice to see more of the character.

Default Legacy: 15 Marvel Comics That DESPERATELY Need To Return

    http://www.cbr.com/legacy-15-marvel-...eed-to-return/
    2. Eternals
The Eternals have had a rough time. The group was created by Jack Kirby back in 1976 and appeared in their self-titled first issue. Despite being created by the King, the group of creatures — evolved beings created by the Celestials, the same beings who made the Inhumans — never quite fit. A bunch of truly talented creators have tried but the series has never managed to grab ahold of readers — not even when Neil Gaiman came over to work on it.

However, they should definitely come back for Legacy because they are an integral part of the Marvel Universe, created by Jack Kirby, and now could be the time that, finally, someone manages to make an Eternals comic worth reading. Legacy is about a return to the old Marvel ways but with startling new stories, so now is the perfect time for Eternals.

    I agree!

I kind of wish Ikaris had been used instead of the Sentry as the 'Thor-analogue' in Bendis' New Avengers run. It would have raised the Eternal's profile considerably to have one be the 'heavy hitter' of an Avengers team.

Later on, when they seemed to be throwing every near-cosmic-level figure, like the Star Brand, Captain Universe and Hyperion, onto a team, I wondered where Sersi was, since she was already a former Avenger, and *amazingly* powerful. (Frankly, maybe 'too big for the room,' even in *that* room... An Eternal who was merely *average* at energy manipulation, psychic powers, transmutation, etc. would still be ridiculously powerful and useful, unlike specialists like Thena, Ikaris, Sersi, Makkari, etc. who are *well* above average in one or more areas.)

no argument here. my hope is that after Infinity War they introduce The Eternals in a Thor or Guardians film.

Talking Happy 40th anniversary 616 Gilgamesh aka the Forgotten One!!!!! 1977-2017

    Eternals #13 Jul 1977
    "The Astronauts!"
Only in the awesome era of the space god's return could these shocking events happen.
Images once carved on stone by the ancient Incas have come to life, and they've come to Earth! The space gods have returned!
A new awareness of the past, present, and future has gripped mankind in the wake of their arrival.
While the giant Celestials roam the planet, their monstrous spacecraft orbits the Earth.

This is the story of those who were sent to investigate that spacecraft.

Note: First appearance of Gilgamesh (the Forgotten One).

If they decide to reboot or relaunch the MCU, to start over and place FF, X-Men and other things into proper context, I would like to see a phase 1 of this reboot that would have a movie about the Eternals and kinda laying it al out there how all these beings and experiments and stuff began way way.

So either a title like "The Coming of the Celestials", or "Eternals: Earthfall 10,000 bc" -basically not something too plain but when the concept is so cosmic, one of those old Marvel Alliterative titles would be cool.

Of course I also think that another movie in phase 1, must also be about the age or years prior to the FF rocket trip.

So "The Invaders" which can recap Torch, Namor and Cap's stories (maybe a mini Human Torch vs. Sub-Mariner plot too) and how they became a heroic team in the '40s.

ShIELD and other characters or plots should be used to greater affect.

An intriguing take that might be helpful introducing the MCU FF and X-Men.
