Ikaris escapes his prison and finds that his cousin Druig has entered the Pyramid of the Winds.

Druig wants to use its weapon against the Celestials.

Unwilling to kill Druig, Ikaris destroys the weapon, which unleashes enough energy to destroy the Pyramid and consume Druig.

I love the Eternals, always felt that like their DC counterparts in the New Gods they weren't being used nearly as well as they could be.

The New Gods will actually get their own movie before the Eternals:

I'd really love it if the Eternals could get an MCU film. I love the whole Kirby imagery/design sense and could be a replacement for Thor. Also... Who doesn't love Sersi!

I liked it when the MCU Asgardians were first introduced to the movie going public in 2011 and the MCU Wakandans in 2018.

Given that the movie going public got to see some MCU Celestials they to me are to be treated to their creations, the MCU Eternals, as soon as possible.

According to a new report, Marvel is developing the Eternals as a franchise for their post-Avengers 4 future.

Can't say I'm surprised to see it centering on Sersi. She would certainly standout among the other MCU female leads .

Avengers #361 Apr 1993
"Family Responsibility" Guest-starring Ikaris and Sprite.
Ikaris arrives at Avengers Mansion with an attitude and demands an audience with his troubled cousin Sersi!
After a brief set-to with the Avengers, Ikaris talks to Sersi and learns that she has designated Dane Whitman as her "Gann Josin."
What exactly does that mean? To his dismay the Black Knight will find out soon enough!


Later on in the Avengers' conference room, Ikaris abruptly performs the steps to mind-link Dane and Sersi.

Now they are "soulmates." The Black Knight doesn't know what to do next. And neither does Crystal.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Vision continues biding his time…waiting for the perfect opportunity to slay the Swordsman and anyone else who gets in his way!

Cameo appearance by Proctor. Flashback cameos by the Celestials and the Uni-Mind.
Avengers Lineup: Black Knight, Black Widow, Captain America, Crystal, Hercules, Sersi, and the Vision.

"A Vision Revealed!"
After several days of scheming, the Anti-Vision finally makes his move.
The proverbial Trojan horse in Avengers Mansion waits until nightfall to begin his attack.
Acting under Proctor's orders, the Anti-Vision knocks out his primary target, the Swordsman, first.
Then the synthetic imposter glides upstairs to Crystal's bedroom.

The Avengers battle him and Sersi is forced to painfully subdue him.


The Avengers vow to take the battle to Proctor and the Gatherers.

I really wish a writer with enough popularity and the ability to craft epic stories with the necessary plum to make the book unique could write a Eternals ongoing or Maxi-series.

To me, nowadays, marvel comics does not have such a writer.
