I honestly hate but weak MM and Superman were in the show, I think literally every time MM phased through something or try to read someone's mind he ends up getting knocked out.

considering his power set, martian manhunter should have been in the front lines most of the times. not just his strength, but for his invisibility, shape shifting, and other abilities. he mostly just stays on monitor duty and when he does go out, he gets taken out. he is probably just too powerful for his own good. it's either he's wallflower or he becomes a major villain.

This is the major problem with telepaths in general. In the 90's X-Men series all Jene and Xavier did was scream as they used their powers to probe something. Telepathy is the worst.

It's more of problem with writers who can't think of interesting ways to use powers that don't require blowing things up or smashing things.

J.M.DeMatteis' Martian Manhunter mini-series puts Bruce Timm's version to shame. That was the true Martian Manhunter, it showed that Batman wasn't even in the same league....oh well...

"Chronicles" are an online streaming-series to promote the usual DVD/Blu-ray film, as I understand it. Like making an OVA for a DTV.
