What are the common Superman topics?

It seems like there are certain thread topics that keep coming up over and over again. Of course, for some posters these are new. But for those who have been around here for awhile, and there are some who have been around here for a very long while, it gets kind of boring posting what you said before on a similar topic which is now gone.

I know for myself, I just don't feel like responding again, because what would be the point? The topic will go away and then a few months later, a similar topic will appear. It's a Sisyphean dilemma.

Maybe if we could list the main topics that keep coming up, we could make those as stickies or keep them on the front page somehow, so those main topics would always stay around and not go away.

Off the top of my head, some of these topics are:

Favourite Superman artist/best Superman artist.
Favourite Superman writers/best Superman writer.
Favourite Superman story/best Superman story.
Favourite Superman decade/age/period.
Most popular version of Superman.

In brainstorming sessions, it's good not to shut down any ideas. And since this is a brainstorming session, we ought to consider the "appreciation" topics--but my own feeling is that's too broad a category. And there's already been a lot of discussion about the appreciation threads elsewhere. I'm not sure how you could limit them--that's probably a matter for the mods.

Two threads for Superman as sole survivor were amalgamated into one thread (now on the second page of this forum)--that might be a solution for some of the other doppelganger topics.

Another topic that comes up quite a bit is the Superman movies--which is the best, the most definitive, etc.
