My wife and I used to have a Siamese that loved to be picked up like that.

This is a shot of Kodos and Kang when they were adolescent kittens.



They were abandoned as kittens and we adopted them when they were 8 - 10 weeks old. My wife and I are both "cat people" and we both grew up with cats in the home. We have had two cats before these guys but this is the first time that we have had two cats at the same time. It is great to watch them interact. Sometimes gentle and affectionate and sometimes not so much.

Aaaaa....the paw on shoulder action is just too much.

Does Murphy use that cat door in the background?

It's a dog door, sized for him. He'll use it to come inside, but not to go outside. Because when he rings those bells to get someone to let him outside, he gets a treat.

I really love this thread.

Apparently I had a dog when I was really little and living in Haiti but I don't remember him. A few of my family members told me about him. He was hit by a car. I've never had a pet besides that although I'd want one.

here is my rescue cat White Sox. Yep all four paws are white.

I swear every forum I go to has at least one other proud torty owner....

My other rescue is a Burmese. Ms. Purrrdy.

She is quite talkative. One Halloween I tried to put a superman costume on her and she took off, out the door down the street with her cape on and one half of her costume. I chased after her yelling " Ill take it off...dont run"

thank Gawd..no one had their cell phones out..or it might have made it on youtube.
