Nice! El Nino is a pleasant read, didn't blew my mind but it was good. Fear Agent, Goon and SW are super awesome IMHO.

I was wondering if this is how the binding on IDW's Parker is supposed to look? I just got it in the mail and I was a little surprised that the cardboard was separated from the book. Was it supposed to be wrapped in plastic? Mine wasn't. It was purchased new.

The bending looks perfectly fine to me. Can't remember if my copy was shrink wrapped or not, so I can't help you with that.

The brown paper should be glued to the page block as it provides strength. There is a book repair thread in this forum that covers a good amount about the structure of books and gives a method to easily repair this kind of problem. I have had to repair a couple of my Marvel Omni's with this issue it works great and is really easy.

From the same auction site that I bought Simonson's Thor, Miller's Daredevil and Claremont's Uncanny X-men vol 1. Not that many omnibus collectors in Finland I paid 87€ including shipping.

Thanks for the link. Since I purchased it brand new from IST I've decided to ask for a replacement. Not only is it pulling away, but I noticed the cardboard is ripped on one end as well. Very disappointing.

December haul, Death, Blacksad, Ocean/orbiter and Injustice were christmas presents. Peanuts costed 14,11 pounds, quite a good deal I would say (unfortunately there is a small ding on it but for that price I can live with that).

I haven't read the latest book but read the first 4 like 5 or 6 times just didn't own this volume yet, brilliant stuff. Sometimes people say the art is better than the story and while I agree that the art is brilliant I think the story is just as good but not as flashy. It's not complex and layered it's "just" really well crafted genre fiction.
    GET THEM!

Wow putting that Hawkeye omnibus next to the Lemire GA deluxe really shines a light on how much of a rip-off Marvels pricing of that omnibus was.
