First order in almost 2 months. Leaning more towards independents atm, even if that means more trades. Seem to be more enjoyable lately.

It's like a porn version of LoEG but the art is kinda bad and the story is either boring or disturbing. Didn't even make it halfway through before I sold it.
I'm not saying it's bad I see what Moore was doing I just couldn't get into it at all. But so far the only erotic comic book I could read was sunstone (and not because I'm prudish )

Just came in so we'll see. I like to dabble in different genres, so I'm open minded. Sunstone was a bore to me even tho i loved the art.

To be fair Sunstone and lost girls are very different animals. Moore is going for something new and intriguing even when he is writing porn (he said it himself he considers it porn) while sunstone is basically just an edgier romcom (but I like romcoms)

If you want sophisticated erotic comics, you should check out Crepax.

    haha
Well in defense of Sunstone, it's not a romcom like Four weddings and a funeral, it's more a slice of life story that revolves around the bdsm lifestyle and community (and is a very sympathetic representation of that unlike the horribly exploitative and toxic 50 shades of grey). I think the reason I like it (which is a reason I never realised until the book itself pointed it out to me) is that unlike porn or most erotic fiction in this one sexiness doesn't override reality.
Since sex is the core element of their relationship and the focus of the book it feels natural and you don't get scenes where a pizza delivery guy or a plumber ends up in a threesome just because why not. Also the characters are written like real humans.

If you are interested you can download the whole thing legally, for free from Sejic's deviantart to check it out (the whole thing started as a webcomic).

I like his art style but I've read some stuff ages ago and it was basically a woman dreaming about getting into weird sex scenarios and nothing else (was it Bianca maybe?). It was a stylistic exercise but as a story it was just one dream sequence to the other, not something that really interests me as a story.
Not trying to say it's bad, visually it was really great, but it's not the type of stuff I enjoy reading.

Based on that description it definitely sounds like Bianca. It's one of my favorite books of his but it's definitely light on making sense

she was on a pirate ship then in a circus, getting very undressed and pleasured in each scene
I absolutely get the hype btw, his storytelling was very experimental and he has a very nice style but I just prefer a good plot

I blush when people kiss in front of me. These comics do not sound like my thing...
