    It's been a while since I've read the Metabarons but no, it is very different to the Incal (which I'm on the same page with you).

    If i'm not mistaken, i read metabarons at 2004. It has been a while... I really liked it back then. Later on i read King Oidipus Play and i realised Metabarons was all about Oidipus complex. So was Son of a Gun from Jodowrsky, it seems the guy is obsessed with Oidipus Complex. lol

    Hello, everyone! New member here. I just started collecting about, oh, I don't know, a year and a half or two years ago.

    I recently ordered Hulk by Peter David Omnibus (material I've never read before), Hawkeye by Matt Fraction Omnibus which I found for a reasonably good price, and Animal Man by Grant Morrison Omnibus which I also found (relatively) cheap. Probably be the only orders for this month (really looking forward to Uncanny X-Force next month!).

    Welcome! There are a few awesome things that I might recommend you take a look at; '1000 Books in XXXX' is an interesting way of seeing how your reading pans out over time, this thread is obviously great, the shelfporn thread is amazing but I honestly suggesting checking that out when you have some hours to spare because you will go through the whole damn thing, and the general omnibus and current collected edition threads are both full of ongoing discussion about collected editions in general.

    I've just ordered myself Locke and Key Master Edition Volume 1 but I'm kicking myself for not ordering the Daredevil Bendis Omnibus Volume 1 sooner as I can't get hold of it now. I'm hoping it comes back in to stock at least once more.

    Have you tried Speedyhen? I know it's out of stock, but they're known to get books back in stock and it's at a "reasonable" price, at around £49.

    Yeah I keep checking the usual sites that I order from (Speedyhen, BookDepository, Wordery, Amazon, Forbidden Planet, Reed Comics) so I'm sure it'll pop up again somewhere. It's my own fault for not getting it ordered sooner. I was itching to buy something today and that Daredevil omni was top of my list, but seeing as I couldn't get it today, I went for Locke and Key instead.

    that's not a bad substitute at all IMO.
