I just couldn't care less about the Adventure stuff, except one Darwyn Cooke story. The others were bad fanfic IMHO. Now a good fanfic was Cargo of Doom. Well, fanfic maybe a bit derogative but it's Rocketeer vs Dinosaurs so it's borderline fanfic but sooooo much fun.
Hollywood horror didn't grab me too much so didn't finish it but maybe I'm gonna revisit it some day.

Nice! I love all of those except for Fear Agent, which I just can't ever seen to get into, but I am in the VAST minority there so I bet you'll dig it.

I've read the first library edition. I'm actually thinking about selling my two library editions on eBay. I may be the first person on Earth to do this.

I also did not find Fear Agent all that great, went through 3/4 of the first library edition, started reading something else, never went back to FA. I liked the goofiness, the classic sci-fi feel, but it kind of gets old fast. I did not find the hero to be that relatable either. Not a bad read though, it's quite entertaining at times, I just found it a bit overhyped.

while I really like the first 2 stories/trades I think it gets really good with the 3rd one, the invasion story and after that it just gets better and better, focusing more on the characters and less on the zany pulp space stuff (of course it never abandons that but it feels more organic).
If you already have the books and have some time I would suggest to read the rest before selling it (it's not like a dense read). The ending is really powerful.

Yes if you've got them I'd recommend at least reading them in full before making up your mind. I did think it was a little over hyped myself though but still liked it a lot.

As I said earlier in this thread, I've had a good month at work with a promotion and my personal business is also doing very well, so I did the responsible thing and made some large comic orders. This is about 75% of what I've ordered and I have another order coming from IST this week that is almost all Archaia books. I tend to make large orders every quarter or so...
