Golden Age Batman is not Silver Age Batman. Golden Age Batman is awesome.

Didn't know the Paul Dini hardcover wasn't oversized, read it digitally. Interesting. Not sure why I thought it was bigger.

Yeah, I would have preferred it as a deluxe as I very rarely purchase HCs that are not oversized.

They really are fun and you can sense were the Pulp style of the era is evident in Batman just as in any Tarzan, Zorro, Shadow or Doc Savage of the era. The influences of the time period are not lost on these GA Batman stories.

If I lived in the USA, InStockTrades would be my go-to spot for online shopping. For international markets, Amazon seems to be the best option.

Just placed my second-to-last order(s) for this year.

    From Amazon:
-Dark Night: A True Batman Story (as mentioned before in this thread, it's a shame it's not oversized)
-Big Guy and Rusty 2nd edition
    -Hellboy Library Edition Vol. 1
-Hellboy Library Edition Vol. 2 (I'll eventually get them all if they don't go OOP)
    -Spawn Origins Collection Book 1
-Spawn Origins Collection Book 2 (ditto, though I am wondering which would be a good jumping-off point here. Any suggestions?)
    -Daredevil by Miller/Janson omnibus
-Daredevil by Miller Companion omnibus (finally pulling the trigger on these two)

    From eBay:
    All of these are floppies...
    -Gumby Summer Fun Special #1
    -Kings in Disguise #1
    -Kurt Busiek's Astro City vol. 1 #4
    -Kurt Busiek's Astro City vol. 2 #1
    -Kurt Busiek's Astro City vol. 2 #10
    -The Stuff of Dreams #1
    -Conan The Legend #0
    -Batman/The Spirit #1
-Justice League of America vol. 2 #11
    -Hellboy: Double Feature of Evil

    From Graphitti Designs website:
-Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns: Gallery Edition (signed/numbered)

Spawn Origins Volume 4 ends with issue #50 which is a good point to stop. The series actually started going downhill (for me anyways) shortly after this.

-Ivar was surprisingly thin, even though it collects the standard 3 arc
-took advantage of the dark horse sale last week to finally read mind mgmt.
-odd marvel decided to put the 2 in the second minibus at the top
-i haven't bought a marvel trade in idk how long. I've always enjoyed spider-man and deadpool team ups, so i figured wth its 6 issues. That book is half the size of the image /vertigo trades i also purchased :/

Nice! I hate it when that happens though. You have a short gap between the last HC and the shelf, so you have to lean the last one up against the others so they don't fall over. I have 2 or 3 of those right now.

Oh yeah! I just hate the space there while waiting to get the next volumes. It drives me nuts.
