I just had this urge to read these X stories I've never read before but I remember when I was a kid they looked really cool (although I try to avoid stuff that involves Liefeld and similar artists). Not sure about the GotG stuff, hope the story is good because some of the art looks a big dodgy in it (there was an issue I thought it's Liefeld but turns out it's Herb Trimpe :O )
Upgraded Superman FAS and Arkham from tpbs, it was about time and got a nice price on an ebay auction. WW was also quite cheap, like 28 quid and the X-men epic was like 12,5 so overall I'm quite pleased with what I got and for how much.
After reading the Manara books I'm really tempted by the HP Corto Maltese. You'll have to let me know what you think of it.

I've only read the first maybe the second volume too and I wasn't blown away but I think this is a VERY overhyped series and I just have to get used to it to fully appreciate it. But it was good enough to keep buying them. Also damn these paperbacks are better quality than most deluxe hardcovers or omnibuses from recent years.

On a local online marketplace. And for a nice price too. Below coverprice incl. shippingcosts. And sealed The second deluxe is on the way.

A friend of mine got those BPRD hc deluxes for me.

As usual all "comixology stuff". But for once not in sale: First two volumes of Greg Rucka's Stumptown, 7 to 13 of Garth Ennis Fury Max, and Justice League of America 200.

Last but not least 65 to 72 of John Ostrander's Firestorm run.. (I'm buying this in "batches to save the trauma of parting with too much money at same time. No doubt once I've got it all, they will be in next DC sale.)

They are out of print. I bought them for coverprice through a friend of mine. They are unread. Only the dustjackets are discolored on the spine. A friend of his bought them and put them on a shelf and forgot about them. So I got lucky

Congrats man, I've been trying to find a good deal on these for a while.

Thanks. I'm pretty pleased with them. I already had 1946-1948 in hc. I'm looking forward to the new one in january.
