    Also, Vision is so good! Not sure if it will be your cuppa, it's pretty depressing but I loved it!
    Yeah I like my animal stories to have a happy end also (I will never watch Hachiko again although it's a beautiful film and a favourite).

    Here's the blurb to Marney the Fox:

    Marney the Fox is a Lassie-style tale of a lone fox up against wicked humans via Watership Down and Fantastic Mr Fox.

    Written by the late M Scott Goodall and beautifully illustrated by John Stokes, Marney the Fox is a Tarka the Otter–style tale of a lone fox, channelling Lassie and The Fantastic Mr Fox along the way. Marney is a young fox trying to survive against the odds, from dodging blood-thirsty humans to encountering other wild animals. This is a beautifully illustrated story capturing the British countryside and wildlife in astonishing detail showcases Stokes’ finest work, a masterpiece that has lain un-reprinted for decades and makes an ideal children’s book and early Christmas present.

    * This extraordinarily beautiful book is a lost classic from children’s literature and makes a perfect Christmas gift.
    * There is no other children’s graphic novel like it, for its breathtaking rendition of the English countryside and the moving story that owes nods to Tarka the Otter in its sensitive portrayal of animals.
    * Never before collected.
    * From the new Treasury of British Comics list from Rebellion, highlighting classic British comics.

    Here's a nice short review with pics: http://lewstringer.blogspot.com/2017...y-fox.html?m=1

    And don't worry, animal lovers and children will love it, as will fans of quality comics art.

    I picked up Vision because of all the positive buzz and decided to add it to my IST order as only $20 for a 400 page book.

    indeed it looks good although this kind of old British comics style makes every page look so overwhelmingly dense.
    As for Vision, the series is only like 10 or 12 issues the rest of the book is extras, lots of script pages unfortunately.

    In anticipation of Byrne’s Fantastic Four Omnibus Volume One that will be released over the summer, I was able to order the Volume Two Omnibus for less than $60 including shipping. One of my favorite runs when I was a kid.

It came in the foil wrap brand new and I really can't see any damage to it bar a very slight indent at the bottom of the book. It will go nicely next to my EC Archives Tales of Valor.
    Great Haul.

    Do they charge for pre-orders immediately or on date of release?

    it says on the website they don't unless you pay with paypal but I've used my card once for a preorder and the amount went into my pending balance so they basically took it (unlike Amazon or Forbidden planet).

    It’s the only place I ever order books and have never been charged until the book ships, but as Balakin says, when paying by PayPal they charge straight away

    A shamefully small haul, for the entire month of February! I've been working so many hours, and trying so much to save money, that I've barely bought any books. What has life come to...

    My Jan/Feb haul;

    Given that four of those are KS rewards paid for long in advance, I actually kinda succeded in cutting down!
