I received my ASM omnibus volume 4 today. I'm disappointed I had to go for the Cho cover but it was considerably cheaper and at least I've got the book now.

Yeah. It‘s the German version. Bigger format and quite a few extras that the US version doesn‘t have. Decided to go for German as well because, well, it‘s set there, plus they made an effort to have the characters speak the local dialect. In any case, best GN I‘ve read this year - by a margin.

I had a good last month at work sooo I spend a bit more on big books. Absolute Planetary, The Sleeper (my favourite Brubaker series), Parker and the new brazilian edition of The Books of Magic.

Out of all of the comic books that I've read, Sleeper is still my favourite series. Love that book so much.

The reviews that I read were pretty damn good. Have you read any of her other works?

I've read those and a smaller one. I can't come up with the title.

    Edit: the winter ghosts

I recently finished reading Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck. Fantastic read. I highly recommend it.
