Did anyone here grab that variant Simonson Thor Omnibus off eBay recently? It went in the very early morning I think. It was opened, "very good" quality, but the final bid was like $128 US, which I consider a steal. Curious as to if there were any big damages/wear.

an expensive couple of days (which will get more expensive come Tuesday) managed to snag two of my remaining four white whales (guess which ones) the remaining two i should, fingers crossed, be getting on tuesday, then i can relax and never have to scan eBay or amazon again.

Also, for anyone looking for ASM by JMS Vol. 5, I found it at this site called MindOddity. I had never used it before, but the book arrived quickly. The only downside was that it shipped in a bubble mailer, so the corners were dinged slightly.

caved in to the obssession today and ordered Hanuka's The Realist (read it digitally and loved it, gotta have the hardcover), then Buffy Season 8 Library Edition Vol. 1, because i got nostalgic about the TV series. and of course, if i like it, i will have to get the remaining volumes too. ah well.

Just ordered wolverine by miller omnibus off ebay. That's one of my white whales off the list, just need to focus on my attention on DD volume 1 by brubaker and I'm done as far as OOP omni's are concerned.

Have found someone who needs to sell, if I had the cash I would buy all his stuff, I have never seen a larger collection of marvel Omni's and ohc.

Lucky man! I need the brubaker volume 1 and if I ever see the bendis volume 1 go for a decent price I'll pick it up and trade my OHC.
